BBM, just to let you know just because you use your PC and transfer pics and choose to have them deleted from card, they are just as recoverable as doing it from the camera, either way pics are easily found and no need for sophisticated forensic software there are tons of data recovery solutions.

Fortunately there are no nude murderous shots, eh? I just do it to save room on my (way too small) 1GB SD card. It's a totally separate function than on the camera itself though - you do have the option of formatting and deleting the card via the camera but you have to manually select it. It's a much deeper process.

Unfortunately, thanks to kiddos, I am all too familiar with data recovery software. Still wasn't able to retrieve some of my wedding photos.

Interesting. So you think JA was threatening him while the shower pics were taken (with the knife or gun). She wanted some pics of him naked (either for herself or blackmail). She forced him to sit. He finally at some point looks at the camera and she takes that infamous last picture alive. He's had enough. Tells her to leave and she freaks and starts attacking.

Is that what you think happened?

Didn't the ME testify that his chest wound showed a very slight upward or downward angle? I cannot remember which one now but I know it came out on cross exam.

Believe the ME said very slightly upward?

I have to disagree. I have a camera very similar to Travis' and can manage to navigate the settings pretty easily. The software is made for simplicity - like the flash icon being a bolt of lighting, red eye reduction being the symbol of an eye, etc. The settings can be manipulated via a wheel attachment located beneath the shutter and menu settings accessed via buttons on the back of the camera.
(You'd use menu settings option for things like setting the time/date; setting the timer; deleting and formatting. Settings like red eye reduction; landscape shots; flash and auto you can use the wheel for. Zoom is a separate function - on mine it's a slider near the shutter button.)

When I bought my camera I certainly wouldn't have known that deleting pictures from the camera didn't also delete them from the card as well - but I set up my software to delete it from the card and/or camera upon upload to my PC. Then again I do not claim to be a professional photographer either. I am most certainly not very technically oriented. (The camera, by the way, has its own (very small) internal memory.)

ETA: I don't believe Jodi washed the camera trying to delete the pics...I think she believed they were deleted already. I tend to think she washed the camera solely to remove any DNA and fingerprints. JMO

I agree. If she put it in the wash intentionally, it was to remove any DNA that could trace it back to her.

Also, if he were stabbed while sitting down I don't know if he would have been able to walk out of the shower. He probably would have crawled out then perhaps grabbed the edge of the sink and tried to pull himself up as she was attacking him.

I think once he was down he was down.

Doesn't take a lot of smarts to change settings, my four year old changes things on my iPhone, iPad and knows his way around Windows 8. I am sure she could have managed changing the time stamp, I have said 1000 times that she should have taken the memory stick, she has done some incredibly stupid things but yet she thought of turning off her cell phone and did manage to hide murder weapon.

I read somewhere (think it was in opening arguments), that the date/time stamp they used is not to be confused with the date/time stamp that a user can change in the settings of the camera. That the date/time stamp the DA used was permanently set by the manufacturer.

Looking back at the photo where TA is looking directly into the camera..does it look like there is some marking on both sides of his neck? It looks red to me...like something was tied tight around his neck. But I could be wrong.........

I noticed that too. Something could have been tightened around his neck during sex and left some temporary marks. I've heard of that before. Some peoPle have even accidentally died doing this!

Also I don't know why the explicit photos they took are refered to as "sex pics" there are no "sex pics"/ There are pictures of naked people.

Looking back at the photo where TA is looking directly into the camera..does it look like there is some marking on both sides of his neck? It looks red to me...like something was tied tight around his neck. But I could be wrong.........

As for the shower pictures, I really didn't see anything in them that I wouldn't do during the course of a shower. If I am cold at the start of it I put my arms to me chest, if my muscles are tight I would stretch out my back with my arms held up high. If I was exhausted after being up and dealing with a psycho ex gf who had finally just left...I might just sit in the shower and then when I notice her there with a camera I would probably have that same strange expression on my face as he did right before being attacked.

In fact I find the entire shower pictures haunting.

Men can be coerced into having sex they do not want trying to appease the obsessive raging one just like women have been forced. In so many shots he looks so sad like he wants to wash her junk off as if he felt he was forced into sex he did not want and is so relieved its over. Woman have been there and all they want is to stand in a hot shower hoping the water can wash all of the evidence away of the coercer.

Has anyone offered up the theory of a sexual frenzy? IOW; she was having different styles of sex with Travis except for one. Could she have become so frustrated by not "having it" that she lashed out when he denied her; and or denied her that trip to Cancun? This is a crime so filled with hatred, as well as sex.
Sexual Frenzy IE a denial of it; could have set her off. But whatever it was; the trip; the lack of true sex, maybe the way she perceived he was treating her; she wanted to photograph taking his life. Of that I'm 100% positive. She wanted to capture that emotion; and said so in other interviews that This was the one thing she loved to do when photographing. She is no photographer. A wannabe for certain. Legit? Not on your life.

There is far too much proof of premeditation for it to be sexual frenzy. The staged break in at her grandparent's house of a gun that was the same type of gun used in the crime. She brought the gun with her. She taped them having phone sex where he says he thinks it's hot that her orgasm sounds like a 12 year old girl. She set out to destroy him by any means necessary. She had already murdered him in her mind before she did it physically.

This also tends to support what I think may have happened, that until we see that photo of Travis looking into the camera I don't think he was aware that he was being photographed. He realized it in that last shot, started raising up and opened the shower door when she struck.

Trying to catch up and actually watch some of the trial today on my day off I'm sure it has been asked (and answered) before, but is there anywhere to see the whole interrogation video that they played yesterday at the trial? Did they actually play the whole video? TIA

He realized it in that last shot, started raising up and opened the shower door when she struck.

But the last two shots, by time, are the two only focused on his body. His face shot was third to last.
