How must it feel to know you are never going to see anything other than the sterile inside of a government building, again? That interrogation was the beginning for her of never feeling the wind or the sun or seeing flowers or petting dogs or hiking up a hill and smelling the desert sage.

I often wonder if these nuts, at those moments, regret what they did.

If regret means the ability to question the outcome then I bet she does. But if regret means to question yourself about the outcome I don't think she is capable of doubting herself. But then she got those plastic surgeries done so I don't know...

I have been lurking here for awhile and have finally decided to put in my two cents. :)

Did anyone else notice how she was watching herself on the interrogation video. At the beginning I think that I saw the beginnings of a smile.

She is a crazy biotch!!!!!!!

Yes a total actress! A horrible one at that! Personally I think she wanted to get caught, she loves attention...negative or positive. this is her time to shine I guess! sicko!

"Let's just say I've seen all of you". Lol.

She was ok right after she murdered someone, what's a little trial? She doesn't need meds to be calm. She has no fear. It's a trait of psychopaths. Never anxiety. She sleeps like a log.

IMO

So she invited him to see OTHELLO? Jodi probably sees herself an an Othello-like tragic character. Travis as Desdemona.

Thank you SparkNotes:

Desdemona is apparently aware of her imminent death. She, not Othello, asks Emilia to put her wedding sheets on the bed, and she asks Emilia to bury her in these sheets should she die first. The last time we see Desdemona before she awakens to find Othello standing over her with murder in his eyes, she sings a song she learned from her mother’s maid: “She was in love; and he proved mad / And did forsake her. She had a song of willow. / . . . / And she died singing it. That song tonight / Will not go from my mind” (IV.iii.27–30). Like the audience, Desdemona seems able only to watch as her husband is driven insane with jealousy. Though she maintains to the end that she is “guiltless,” Desdemona also forgives her husband (V.ii.133). Her forgiveness of Othello may help the audience to forgive him as well.

Shortly before he kills himself, Othello wishes for eternal spiritual and physical torture in hell, crying out, “Whip me, ye devils, / . . . / . . . roast me in sulphur, / Wash me in steep-down gulfs of liquid fire!” (V.ii.284–287

Wow. Just wow.

She doesn't look too horrified to see Travis stabbed.

You and me both. The good thing though is that had she lawyered up from the get go, I am not so sure she would have ever been indicted. Her own lies are the most powerful evidence.

Hi, SeattleChiquita. With all the forensic evidence, she would have been charged, but I agree that her media interviews and interrogation are incredibly damning.

True, I should have phrased it differently. She would have been indicted, but even the public opinion surrounding her would be different had she kept her trap shut.

Not very smart, this one.

and i am 100% against Jodi but i think shes on meds....smiling when she saw herself stretch and no emotions today

I bet that LE were pleasantly shocked that she still had not requested an attorney at this point. What a dumb dumb move on her part. Her grandiose belief in her ability to lie well ended up screwing her in the end.

(Thank goodness she was used to that, though.)
