She didn't wear gloves because she thought she'd kill him in the shower, all evidence washed away and then her ruined her plans by living through the initial attack and she had to work really hard to kill him. He almost got away so she had to be absolutely lethal and slit his throat. Then back to the bathroom he goes and my theory is that she is so pissed off that everything got so messy and she blamed TA and as a last FU she shot him in the face.
