Not being able to determine the exact path doesn't necessarily mean you can't call him incapacitated. I guess in court! Lol. but a bullet shakes the brain severely so even if it didn't make a certain path through a critical area just the shock to the brain causes immense damage and bleeding inside the brain that doesn't even make contact with the bullet. But yes, he was too decomposed to see the trajectory for sure. But a bullet to the temple will not allow one to crawl down a hallway. Ill take the medical examiners word on that.

Then also the fact that there was little bleeding from the head wound. This could only be due to bleeding out prior to this injury. Also the blood splatter etc from areas in the crime scene that indicate he was stabbed and heart was still bleeding or done by coughing and therefore splattering blood.

Agreed. And, thank you. This news will most likely be taken better coming from you as you are more tactful. :)

Why would she bring a gun to a knife fight? Neither makes sense really.

I believe she brought the knife because she wanted to feel the satisfaction of the knife going in. Up close and personal and in-your-face. She brought the gun as backup and to make sure the job was finished.

Small caliber bullets have been known to zing around inside a skull and not kill.

Also, do we know the make of the gun that was "stolen" from the grandparents? Because if it was a Taurus, I would bet my 🤬🤬🤬 that it jammed.

He could have been sitting as we've seen in pictures.

Which would mean he never would have made it down the hall. The ME stated the damage to his brain would have restricted his movement so I find it hard to believe by some miracle he would be able to stand up and get to the end of the hall. We know he was not in the shower when she cut his throat. jmo

Why cut someone's throat if you have already shot and stabed him numerous times? Nothing makes sense and it is folly to try to make sense of it. jmo

Exactly why shoot someone you have cut and stabbed. Nothing makes sense!

He would have had to stand up and stagger to the sink and bleed there before crawling down the hall. And, all this with a bullet that has passed through his brain - even though the ME said that this bullet would have incapacitated him.

I did not see the ME testimony. I'm simply stating that IMO TA would have reacted to a knife coming at him IF his eyes were open and maybe got the upper hand, but a gun no way could he react as quickly. Again folks I'm not thinking JA is innocent I'm trying in my mind to get the sequence of events even though they don't matter to me.

Why call him on the phone, leave a message about an upcoming event you know he will never see because you just killed him. She does not make sense. This has all the markings of her doing this because there was no one there to stop her and she gained a great deal of satisfaction from seeing him suffer. In a nutshell, there you have it, and this is what the state is trying to prove. jmo

But, it didn't zing around inside the skull. There was a trajectory from point A to point B.

Since you can see the path of the bullet by using the entrance wound and where it ended up, if the ME says that the bullet HAD to have gone through his brain because of that, I will not question that he knows that for a fact.

Since he has no intact brain matter to see the EXACT location in Travis' brain the bullet damaged, there is also NO WAY for him to state with 100% accuracy which functions Travis did or did not have.

Many, many people survive gun shots to the head that travel through the brain. Especially for only the next 2-3 minutes that it took for Jodi to stab him 27 times and then slit his throat wide open.

Please don't tell me you are believing what she said about anything. And maybe she didn't bring the knife maybe it was one of his. jmo

Yes I am trying to see some truth in her lies as she is the only one alive that knows what happened

He has cuts and deep defensive wounds on his hands from the knife. The ME said he would have not been able to defend himself if she had stabbed him afterwards had he been shot in the head first.

You should watch his testimony. It is only a few posts above ours. jmo

Exactly why shoot someone you've cut from ear to ear and stabbed in the heart

If you read this article, it pretty much summarizes what the ME/expert says happened.

Horn also described the gunshot wound, which he said would have caused Alexander to lose consciousness or die "very rapidly." The medical examiner said there was no bleeding near the site of the bullet wound, which could prove that Alexander was already dead by the time Arias shot him.

I have been through the shower pics numerous times now, and I really think he wasn't posing, and she was taking those without his knowledge. I've studied the close up face shot, and especially the eyes, and he still looks frightened or startled to me. It's odd that she only turned the flash on for the last two pictures, the face shot and the shot of his lower body sitting in the shower. I also think the shower door was still closed in the face shot. The water seems to be running down the door as well as his face. But the door appears to be open in the shot of his lower body seated in the shower. There isn't the same water running down the door effect in that shot. Creepy.

I think he opened the door (like WTH), she snapped the lower body shot by accident (or on purpose), went to toss the camera (depressing the button once more that took the shot of the ceiling), and attacked him with the knife she was holding in her other hand. It's a small camera. She could definitely hold it in one hand and snap the pics. I tried it, and I have small hands. Does anyone remember if the ME said the wounds were right or left angled? (Sorry information overload, and I don't have time to go back to the ME testimony.) She appears to be left handed, so I wonder if she had the camera in the right hand (right handed camera) and the knife in the left, which would be her dominant hand.

I don't think those are scratch marks on his back - too patchy to be cat scratches. I think he had a lot of freckles and moles and that, along with the water running down his back, it somewhat gives the impression of lines.

It would not be that hard to sneak up on him showering if she had a zoom lens. And she could stash those weapons anywhere in the bathroom that was convenient to her, or even on herself if she were fully dressed. All MOO.
