Why would you take your wedding rings off and why would it seem to be to like some sort of a ritual ?

after describing the money missing from the Monopoly box in the living room, B says "also in the living room we had a porcelain little plate where we'd leave on it our (wedding) rings. I presume that they stole those too."

I'm in Australia and have known a number of women who take their rings off when doing the dishes and put them in a small saucer. My daughter still does it.

Why would you take your wedding off ever, or even sometimes? Here in Australia, that would be quite weird I think.

Kept in the living room, though? It's not a small dish by the sink, nor one by a bedside table. Also he seems to be describing both his and his wife's rings. Which puts a different connotation on it, imo.

Yes, to a ring with a stone, and prongs. But I can't see a plain gold band injuring anybody.

Do you mean wearing it ALL the time? In bath, while cleaning, sleeping etc??? It is not healthy in my opinion - might damage blood flowing in your finger. Well, I hate wearing any rings haha

I don’t know if the artist is playing tricks and sketches are always a bit off with detail and features but this one has something familiar about it, maybe it’s in the expression, the artist somehow captured and made obvious a certain maliciousness.
It’s freaking me out a little bit.

The paragraph right before this talks about the medical examiner's findings of suffocation. However, this excerpt qualifies its reporting twice. One in each sentence, which says "reported/alleged." Reported/alleged by whom? The medical examiner? Or is this a mash-up of media reports of what B or LE supposedly said?

And even if this report is accurate it's still consistent IMO with being suffocated while face down (e.g. suppose the murderer had one hand on the back of C's head pressing her into the pillow, and the other hand on the other side of the pillow pressing upwards).

So I'm still going with my face down theory, and the possibility that a pillow or something similar was used for two reasons:
1) LE's repeated statements that no DNA was found on her nails, and 2) B's recent statement, as reported in the media, that C was turned around and face down towards the pillow or sheet (I posted the translation of this a few days ago)

I’m still struggling with the timeline of events - was C murdered before B was tied up? Or did he witness it through the tiny gap in the masking tape around his face, after they had begged and pleaded for some time. B also said this happened because C screamed when a perp pointed a gun at the baby’s head after they’d found the initial money in the monopoly box.

LE said the lack of DNA indicated that she did not have a chance to fight off her killer so I assume it means there was no blood/skin cells under her nails. Imo

If I was a man living my fairytale, but my princess said she'd had enough of it, and wanted her freedom back, I wonder how I'd react.

Was there any indication that they were already having problems in the marriage? Other than what the therapist has said? I haven't read anything about what her family has said about the investigation.

If the dog was killed before C (which the timeline presented by B suggests), it could have used by the perp(s) as a threat - i.e. "this is what I'm/we're capable of if you don't comply" then pointing the gun at the baby. Except that apparently they didn't put up any resistance and B didn't discover the dog until the police arrived so that can't be right JIMO
