B must be a relatively deep sleeper (or the neighbour a very light sleeper) if the neighbour heard the dog but B didn't JIMO

Or else that was when he was unconsious.

Well, when my friend's sister, a doctor, had enough of her prince charming, a neurosurgeon, he strangled her, stuffed her in a suitcase, and dumped it. In this particular fairy tale, their children are being raised by their grandparents and will never see either of their parents again. Side note, she was murdered on my birthday. ETA: My comment is in reference to the concept of prince charming, not this case specifically.
Even though I am in Australia, I do remember that case, and I am very sorry to hear that you had a personal involvement with the family of that lovely lady. It must be so hard for her family and friends to carry on.

Εγκλημα στα Γλυκά Νερά: Νέα στοιχεία για τον δολοφόνο (Real.gr)

More info on the alleged killer and the other two thieves. Two similar unsolved robberies piqued the interest of LE, but they ruled the first case out. The 2nd may involve the same perps:

The old man pointed out to [the perps] where he had placed 5,000 euros in cash and jewelry, also of great value, so that the robbers could leave the house quickly. But he was wrong, as the three rogue hoodlums closed the mouth and nose of the retired wife, in order to force him to reveal to them where he has hidden other money in the house.

At the same time, they tied him with a packing tape that they had with them. Eventually, the perpetrators left the house, after first taking with them the recording material from the closed circuit of the house and left the couple tied up and gagged.

After investigations by the police, they discovered that they were three men who left the house on foot. These images, with the three figures that were captured on the cameras of the neighboring houses in Peania, were recently shown by the police to Caroline's tragic husband, who recognized at least the body structure of the three robbers and especially the short one with a husky body and the extra kilos.

If it's the same perps, I've got to ask, why'd they stop bringing their own tape to the job? Was it an oversight? If all 3 are the same crew, as Babis claims, I wonder how long they've been doing this and how many people they've terrorized/killed.

Interesting statement "they closed the nose and mouth of the wife."

No mention of whether they left any DNA

Wow, when you think about what we can/can't say on WS and The Sun can get away with that!

The suspect who was arrested at the border left behind biological forensic evidence at the scene of the home invasion on March 7th, in Pikermi. (There are apparently 200 other robberies they are investigating)

Pikermi is only ten minutes from Drafi, where BA and CC bought the lot.

I was just reading this last night but I was too tired to comment on it. It is from Greek Reporter and the article is called, "Arrest Warrant for Suspect in Caroline Crouch Murder in Athens." It may already be on the thread and I missed it.

The warrant was for burglary and causing bodily harm. The three elderly residents were tied up and beaten. There were apparently four others involved, and that crime is the only one they seem to have linked the suspect to.

IMO

Yup, it's been discussed here and LE were unable to link the Georgian to C's murder.

‘Woman-hating Albanian’ monster hunted over burglary murder of Brit, cops say

"Police sources said that if it was proved Mylonopoulou was not a registered doctor "the inquiry will take a different turn."

Yup, she's a verified fraud and is currently a POI in C's murder.

Yup yup yup. (sigh)

I assume the safety guidance list has been added because the title of the article includes 'Woman-hating Albanian monster....', so women who feel worried/scared by the article might find the list helpful?

Why the sigh @tayaway?
I'm just noting that the police source is suggesting that if the doc turns out to be a fraud, "the inquiry will take a different turn". What can this mean?

Sorry, I'm just sighing because we still don't appear anywhere with this case. It's like a sigh of defeat. Is the murderer behind door #1? No. Is there a lead behind door #2? Are there any leads? No?

The inquiry did indeed take a different turn, EM is being investigated for impersonating a professional psychologist and she's a POI in C's murder. Bet EM wished she'd taken an online course on how to control her ego! This has to be the only good to come of this tragedy so far!

Ok, but the fake doc business isn't 'the inquiry'. The inquiry is into CC's death and the robbery. To link the fact that the doc may be fake with the crime that killed CC seems to be what is being suggested by that 'different turn' comment.

Thank you! It may have been this particular crime that triggered them to leave the country. A murder amounts to more years in prison. At least one man got caught. I doubt he will talk, though, unless they can offer him a deal. Imo

The Georgian is no longer a POI in C's murder. LE couldn't connect him to it. Is he a suspect in a different murder?

  • #659
she's a POI in C's murder.

snipped by me for focus.
Is she a POI in C's murder? or just a POI?
She's under inquiry for faking her professional credentials as far as I'm aware, not for having anything to do with C's murder.

She's being investigated for both her fraud and as a POI in C's murder case. This is why we can freely discuss EM here now.
