Why would he take the baby ? I don’t think she formed part of his future plans
I agree,I think he planned to leave the baby with Caroline's mother and escape soon after the Memorial service.

I thought the baby was with his parents, and they didn't go to the service.
But the baby was in Athens and not on the island.I agree,I think he planned to leave the baby with Caroline's mother and escape soon after the Memorial service.
I got the feeling the baby was kept aparat from C's family.I hope there's not a custody fight over the baby.

I can relate to that because I sometimes text my teenager at night when I'm trying to sleep and her music is too loud, then she texts back with all kinds of excuses. It's not remotely funny of course, but in a different situation I may have smiled at the notion that in these modern times we now argue by text.
I wouldn't discard the idea that he wanted to flee with a baby. She is of his "blood" and macho men are very possessive about their children, often treated as "heirs". He is a monster, granted, but it doesnt exclude love (however twisted) for his child. Mind you - he didn't kill Lydia. Nothing is that simple, especially when concerning humans.

I see. I have never met a person like this so I wouldn't know. FortunatelyIt is never about love, it is control. Whether it be his wife, his parents, his baby, or the dog, it's control.
Or he may have planned on leaving the baby with his mother. He would have been easily identified travelling with a baby.I wouldn't discard the idea that he wanted to flee with a baby. Is it for a Court to decide with whom the baby will live? Will adoption follow? Will B as a murderer of the mother be stripped of parental rights? It is very interesting.
I don't think the government would offer such a huge reward if they didn't want to find the suspects responsible for the "real" robberies. One woman was tied up and beaten in front of her 12 year old daughter and another man died from his injuries at the hospital. They should be held accountable. Many of them had reportedly already spent time in prison and chances are they will continue to reoffend. LE apparently recieved over a thousand calls according to an article linked earlier, but none were helpful in Caroline's murder. They still may get tips that lead to the other crimes, though.YESThey deserve this reward 300.000 to fund their Department. Or was the reward just a smokescreen for B's benefit?
One thing I learned from my relationship with a narcissist, they tell outrageous lies and excuses as if they are believable. They don't seem to comprehend how obvious their lies are, even when confronted they will add another excuse.snipped
He must have known it would only be a matter of time. The cellphone and camera data prove the murder was premeditated and not done in a sudden fit of rage.
