No, she clearly states "τον χτυπησα", which translates to "I beat/(physically) attacked him".
It was certainly a "stormy" marriage from the very beginning! Literal fights from day one! I wonder about their elopment to Portugal wedding far from both families. Were the families against their relationship?

It's probably too late at night for our Greek members, but I would be interested in getting a better understanding of this article. The automatic translator tool doesn't make much sense of it Ανατροπή για Μπάμπη Αναγνωστόπουλο: «Δεν τελείωσε η υπόθεση», τρίτο πρόσωπο, τι βρήκε η Καρολάιν, Σούδα

Ah Patrick Jane you are still awake :)
My God! This is becoming creepier and creepier with every passing moment. I get evil vibes from this case:(

For someone who has a job as a pilot, he is not very clever. If this had been a tragic accident or she had died during a fight that got out of hand or during sexual intercourse, he would have put his hands up and told the truth. The removal of the memory card, the smart watch, the timeline he gave police in comparison to movements shown by his mobile phone - he is a compulsive liar. How could he attend her funeral and comfort her mother knowing what he did. He is the lowest of low.

He was a good bit older than her and his job as a pilot, he could have been dominant and controlling. If he ‘snapped’ and killed her during an argument or fight that got out of hand, why was the memory card from the camera removed when it was? Killing the dog, he is despicable. Their poor defenceless baby, her family and friends heartbroken. He concocted a story about what happened that night, making out to be the victim. If he was respected in his position as a pilot, he certainly won’t be respected now. Her poor family, heartbreaking to see her mother being consoled by him at the funeral.

Aha here is his snapping point.

I Knew it!

Murdered Brit Caroline Crouch's diary reveals unhappy relationship with 'killer' husband | Daily Mail Online

At one point,' he said, 'when Caroline texted him that he was 'stupid,' he lost his cool. He disabled the home's surveillance camera, discarding its memory card, before charging up to the attic where he had another heated argument with Caroline, pushing her onto a bed there, and smothering her to death.'
Me thinks it's not true. He removed the card and then killed her almost three hours later. I think it could be an attempt to call it a heat of the moment killing when it was anything but, and she could very well have fallen asleep. It could have been his trigger to start planning though, but perhaps it wasn't even the 'insult' that did it and it was because Caroline said she wanted to separate.

@Patrick Jane , @caylee17799 , @Spyros A. , @Muglericious , @DeLu

I think that's all of our (very helpful) Greek speakers, apologies if I've missed others. Please could one of you help with understanding the article in my post above. Many thanks if you can.

I doubt that her calling him stupid would get him a lesser sentence, at least not here, in Australia.
Though maybe calling your husband stupid in Greece might be a terrible insult. I don't know.

But I've thought for quite awhile that the word if said to him, may have had something to do with what happened.

Bu suffocating someone for 10 minutes is not "spur of the moment"

Anyone who thinks an 11 month old child has no consciousness of seeing her mother killed must be disconnected from their own humanity.
This baby's face says it all.

Now, diary entries made by Caroline - which form part of a 26-page police file - reveal the British wife first told her husband she would leave him in July 2020, when their baby was a month old.
She admitted she wanted to leave before she fell pregnant but changed her mind, saying: 'I didn't want my daughter to grow up without her parents'.

Caroline and B married in July 2019 and she must have become pregnant by September 2019
Seems she already had seen the other side of B after 2 months.

I don't think it was about money either, but he may have done it to make his robbery seem credible. Fraud would be fraud.
I'd like to reply your other post re translating an article. It seems there will be an episode of Tunnel(?) where the lady reporter will talk about "2 faces of B" and possible accomplice - she allegedly has some info. Well, thats what I understood.
