Yes but did he have the crash because he was on the phone.
Was he seen talking or was he angry about something and drove carelessly.
Distracted by the conversation on the phone. Besides it was not so long ago. I dont remember the details.

Is there any chance the suicide could actually be murder?
If murder I dont think it is connected to B's case.

"A reversal in the purchase of a plot of land based on a relevant document drawn up on May 6, according to what Alpha broadcast, specifically the couple had agreed with the owners, twenty-four hours before Caroline 's murder "

Does that mean that the purchase was reversed/cancelled 24 hours before she died? So B received the money back? Or is that a poor translation

in reference to the Crete trip:

«Μήπως είχαν κάνει συμφωνία με την Καρολάιν να χωρίσουν, αλλά αυτή έμαθε κάτι και της έκλεισαν το στόμα;» κατέληξε ο Κατερινόπουλος.
"Maybe they'd made an agreement with C to split-up, but she (C) learned something and they closed her mouth (i.e. by murdering her)" AK concluded

Μπάμπης Αναγνωστόπουλος: Η μυστική συμφωνία με Καρολάιν. «Tης έκλεισαν το στόμα» [video]

I had posted that video embedded in that link, but I didn't hear this line. I listened again, and at 11:14 the newsman interrupts and asks him something. I hear AK mumble the first part of the sentence, but not the second. So I don't know if he said this in another interview, or they heard it when the newsman interrupted him.

Here "plot twist" is a better translation than "reversal."

I do so appreciate all the work people do translating articles . I would not be able to follow all the twists and turns in this case without your very valued help.

Could you translate please .

B&C got a 160,000 euro loan
needed another 30,000 euro. Total building cost 190,000 euro.
C's mother gave 50,000 euro (of the 55,000 euro) for the purchase of the land, yet the land was bought in his name? And this agreement with the owners happened only a day or few days before she was murdered.

/end of summary and translation

plot twist because we'd been told previously that C didn't approve of this location
also AK had hinted around that the money might have been obtained from criminal activities

Is there any chance the suicide could actually be murder?

According to the forensic examination, he allegedly tried to shoot himself in the heart and because he caused a penetrating wound, he aimed the pistol at his head. The way in which the businessman ended his life has provoked various reactions on social media, as many comment in disbelief on the fact that his death was attributed to suicide.

Anastasia Tsoukalas: "A bullet in the head is called a gratuitous shot" In her post, Anastasia Tsoukalas, Associate Professor of Criminology at the Université Paris - Saclay, comments on three points to which she has been led with her scientific knowledge, as she states: "I got tired of reading other things in the media instead of the dead owner of the tavern in Glyka Nera. My humble scientific knowledge leads me to the following:

1. Anyone familiar with weapons never commits suicide by shooting themselves in the head because it is reasonable to assume that they will fail due to the firing of the weapon. The safest way to commit suicide is to point the gun at the mouth.

2. The chances of a person marking his head accurately when he has already been severely injured in the heart are indulgently non-existent.

3. A bullet in the head is called a gratuitous shot. "The gratuitous shot is a characteristic modus operandi of all the mafias around the world", she wrote on her personal Facebook account.

From the same article:

"Although a handwritten note was found in which the dead man nominates his brother as his legal heir, questions arise from the fact that, as the latter testified to the police, the 53-year-old had recently left the business they were holding together, transferring to him his share for 650,000 euros."

Could he have been forced to write the notes and included the information re nominating his brother as a hidden clue to LE that he didn't take his own life?

C's mother learned of B's confession via TV. [WTF!?]

Many questions arise from the discovery of a Facebook profile called Babis Sofianos and a photo of the confessed murderer Babis Anagnostopoulos , which was created nine years ago, in 2012, but also from information that wanted him to use a social application. acquaintances. The big question is why in this facebook profile Babis Anagnostopoulos uses the surname of the owner of the helicopter company in which he works and which he mentions in the information he gives. This is the company Superior Air owned by veteran pilot and businessman Elias Sofianos who is considered one of the "kings" of helicopters in Greece. The company, in addition to its business activities, had also developed intense charitable activity. Characteristic is an old report of the informative website Jungle according to which they took part in the distribution of Christmas presents to needy children with "Santa Claus" Babis Anagnostopoulos who even poses with them. But why did Anagnostopoulos make a fake face profile and even in the name of his boss - which of course is a crime?

Another report adds: With this angelic person B was always chosen by the company as a representative in social and charitable events, say people who knew the killer, and still puzzled to try to understand how he changed from Santa Claus for the other children to become the murderer of his child's mother . His angelic face and kindness were the two main characteristics that made the head of his company choose him as his representative at social events. He had never given any indication of psychological instability or outbursts of violence in his annual psychological assessments. And the big question is who in the end is this man who managed to deceive relatives and friends and boldly hug his mother-in-law, consoling her for the murder of her daughter, which he had committed?

Yes that is what I am thinking. Stavros and B used to take helicopter flights together. I wonder if they were into any organised crime together as Stavros had money for his new business. Was Stavros in the black BMW?

The house in Souda that was not rented
At the same time, new information is coming to light about the house in Souda , which was not rented. One month before the murder in Glyka Nera, a trip was made to Crete either by Babis or Caroline, to rent the house, as revealed by the Brigadier General of the Hellenic Police. and honorary president of the Police Officers, Thanassis Katerinopoulos , speaking to ANT1. This trip took place on April 10 or 12 , a period when no one could travel due to quarantine.

One of the many things I'm confused about is whether it was B (with alleged mistress) or C (with B's coworker), who flew to Souda, Crete, for a house to rent. Here are some MSM examples to illustrate that frustration.

In this version, B goes to Souda with his alleged gf.

Here, we have C traveling to Souda with one of B's colleagues to see about a house.

protothema.gr June 25

AK discusses the fact that one of them went with somebody of the opposite sex to see about renting the place in Souda, but he won't say if it was C or B. Why? Is it crucial to the current investigation?

A.K.«Το πρόσωπο που πήγε εκεί ήταν ταραγμένο και τελικά δεν νοικιάστηκε το σπίτι»
A.K. "The person who went there was upset* and ultimately (decided) not to rent the house."

*upset: a state of agitation/mental disturbance,
and could also mean frantic, shaken

(my translation) /end of translation

This is phrased in a way so it's gender neutral, so it could be referring to B or C. We've had contradictory reports on who went to Souda. But I'm wondering would C be more likely to be agitated or would B? I mean B seems emotionless no matter what's happening, apparently because of NPD (narcissistic personality disorder) and other psychological problems. No emotion . . . despite murdering his wife. Despite being in prison. Also, it looks like the fimes site is sticking by it's story that it was C who went to Souda. But, I don't know how reliable that is, as these narratives seem to change daily.o_O JMO

You raise a good point! It also corresponds with what her friend said, about C being agitated and in some psychological state the day before B murdered her. Meanwhile, B was like, hey, time to let me out of jail so I can raise my daughter! Like nothing happened.

There are many "clouds" and questions about the case of the murder of 20-year-old Caroline Kratos by her husband Babi Anagnostopoulos in their house in Glyka Nera. In the last hours, a part of the research concerns a trip of the young woman that took place at the beginning of last April in Crete.
More specifically, according to information, in the second week of April, the unfortunate Caroline, allegedly visited - by helicopter and a person of the opposite sex - in Souda, in order to see a house to rent.

This is a floor apartment in the settlement of Megala Chorafia, which is only 3 km from Souda.
The house is 114 square meters and contains 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, while it has large perimeter balconies overlooking the Gulf of Souda on one side and the White Mountains on the other.
The house is currently rented until the end of June. The price for rent per month is 580 euros.

No helicopter of this company landed at Chania airport, April 10-12. However, the helicopter may have landed at another helipad or point in Chania.

It is noted that the purchase price of this house is 155,000 euros.

In that article there are embedded videos from MEGA TV channel, and they confirm that it was C that went to Souda. So I'm thinking this information is more reliable now.

This doesn't mean that B didn't have an extramarital relationship with someone, it just means that that is a separate issue from this Souda issue with C, unless C's finding out about B's relationship was the reason for her going there. AK is hinting around to "other crimes" but we haven't seen any evidence of this . . . yet.
