I know you’re not allowed to sleuth people who haven’t been named as POI, but the wording in bold is interesting - could it be suggesting that Lazarou etairiko is a pseudonym for someone else? Or is it just a translation issue IMO

It sounds to me as if B called Lazarou Etairiko first. Maybe she did not answer the phone as it was early in the morning

then at

6:17am B called Lila Gerolimatou

They are both women.

But I think that "stored name Lazarou etairiko" could imply it was not her number but that of someone else.

I am sure you have read this before but it is the first time that I knew Babis had a girlfriend before C.

"Speaking to Greek Reporter on condition of anonymity a friend of Anagnostopoulos who has known him for more than eight years sounded shocked. He said that he first met him in 2013, when Anagnostopoulos was 25 and before he met Crouch through common friends. They became friends and together they were regularly were going out.

“Knowing him, you were seeing a great individual, you would have never imagine any of this. It is a total shock,” says Anagnostopoulos’ old friend.

Anagnostopoulos had a girlfriend at the time. “I had never heard her complaining about his behavior or anything that had to do with Babis. Quite the opposite. I was seeing and hearing that he was a kind gentleman, not only from his girlfriend but also from everybody around him.”

He added that he was also been hearing praise from Anagnostopoulos’ colleagues of how good he was at his job as a pilot and what a nice person he was to work with. The friend reveals that Anagnostopoulos was always working towards his dream of getting his pilot license, “something that would offer him a great financial future, and he achieved it. Why would he destroy all of this?

“To me it doesn’t make sense why would he kill his wife and place the baby on the dead body of his mother. Who does that?” he wonders. The friend says that they lost contact recently, but “during the years we were close I would never have thought that Anagnostopoulos could do harm to anybody, let alone his wife.” The long time friend of the confessed killer could not hide his shock at the developments. “You can never be sure what each one of us hides inside himself,” he tells Greek Reporter.

Yes if his story was going to be that foreign criminals came into his house, stole money and murdered C and his dog, his parents would be the first ones to call as Lydia needed to be looked after.

But why would he lead police to his" supposed lover"? He should have known his phone would be checked.

I must say that I love being in a helicopter. I have been in helicopters twice. Once from Vancouver to Vancouver Island and over the Horizontal Falls in northern Western Australia

Maybe Lola is onto something here? What if that 'work contact' number is for the 40 year old woman MSM keeps referring to? He called her, then he called the neighbor, Lila, who has no involvement whatsoever?

Patrick, have you watched the Stefanos Chios vid that discusses a woman in B's past that apparently encountered his violence? The whole episode is here, and the part about the violence starts around the 30 min mark. ETA: I would've linked from Mega's site, but uh, finding it when I have trouble with the auto translation, is near impossible.

I am now suspicious that the guy who was quoted in the above article is B's ex-work colleague at Superior Air - the guy he phoned first after the murder.

It's possible that they worked together from the Superior Air helipad a few years ago. But B was transferred and the ex-work colleague left. Lila is a fitness instructor and looks about 40yo.

Do you think B deliberately misdialled the first two times to make it more 'believable' he was using his nose? Lila and Lazarou could well be neighbours and the last people B called, so easier to call them via "recent calls" than scrolling through his contacts list - in which case, this would align with his story and support why he didn't call his parents first. IMO

Yes that makes sense as being the last persons called. But IMO they are friends and not necessarily neighbours although Lila could be.
