Hi all. I feel like I am really late to the party here. Sweet Zara was my first case on WS then I closely watched Heather's case unfold. I have been quietly lurking for a number of years.

I am just putting up good vibes that with SM and TM testifying that Heather finally gets a measure of justice her and her family desperately deserve.
Glad to have you out of the shadows. :)

Oh Lawd. Possible computer or other device in the sequestration room.

  • #344
Does anyone know if sequestering was happening 24 hrs a day? Or just during court hours? Even if they weren't watching the live stream, the streams are available all over to watch later.

  • #345
I am seeing and hearing prosecution still arguing about a computer in the room where witnesses were being sequestered ... is that what you all are seeing??

  • #346
The Sheriff's Dept. said the sequestered witnesses have been watching the live streams.

  • #347
Wow...already at a brief recess to figure out if the witnesses have been breaking the sequestration rule.

  • #348
Sooooooo what does this mean? Mistrial?

  • #349
From my understanding, it was when the Moorers had been released from jail.

yes. Specifically shortly after SM got out of jail is my understanding.

And now the jury has been excused. Gonna be one of those days I feel.

There seems to be some problem, and now the jury has been excused from the courtroom.

State says defense witnesses have been violating the sequestration order watching a stream of the trial.

Tammy Moorer expected to take the stand any minute. Moorer is accused of conspiring to kidnap 20-year-old Heather Elvis, who mysteriously vanished in December 2013. https://www.facebook.com/WBTWNews13/posts/10156708298552902 …

Could Tammy have been sending out information to a witness in the witness holding area? Wouldn't put it past her.

  • #353
State is saying witnesses broke the sequester rules by having computer and/or cell phones in room

  • #354
10 minute break. State is arguing that whenever someone goes into the sequester room someone blocks them from entering. They then found out that their is either a computer or cellphone that the witnesses in there are watching, against court order.

I hope LE physically searches the defense witnesses.

They could be hiding the phones in the underwear garments if they are watching on their phones.

The judge has asked the jury to leave the room. State says they have been in contact with Sheriff's office and questioning if sequestered witnesses have been watching the live stream. Taking a 10 minute recess as the state gathers information. #TammyMoorerTrial

The jury has been excused from the courtroom. Right now the state is bringing up concerns with sequestered witnesses. The court is trying to figure out if sequestered witnesses violated the order to not watch live stream/listen to testimony. We're taking a ten minute recess.

The Sheriff's Dept. said the sequestered witnesses have been watching the live streams.
Oh no. If so we may loose camera in court .

  • #359
This is already a circus, just as I had assumed. Regardless whether or not they had access to the live stream I am sure they have all watched the recorded videos.

The court is taking a 10 minute recess to determine if the defense’s witnesses violated the sequestration order. The state claims a computer was in the sequestration room with access to a live stream of the trial.
