"Do you know how they got the phones in?"
"I assumed they carried them in."
"Nobody in your office tried to stop them?"

Holy gaslighting! It's the sheriff's office's fault these people can't follow orders.

It almost sounds to me like defense counsel gave different 'rules' to the deputies and are now trying to make it seem like it was the deputies fault for not following what he said. Like he deliberately set out to mess this up. JMO

I wonder why if they were busted on Monday, why this is only been raised now. Perhaps State was waiting to see if Defense was going to call those witnesses.

LOL, she's not letting this atty pull any of his BS

Same thought crossed my mind. This is like the Defense's "self destruct" button.

These poor kids. If they had a better mom and didn't have to testify to keep her out of jail (either by force or their own desperation to save her) this would not be an issue. They should be out enjoying kid things, not going through another trial.

SMH IMO

Did I catch her tell Greg that she brought this to his attention on Monday as well?

Deputy says this happened on Monday. Says she can confirm that the live stream was up on a laptop computer. She also confiscated cellphones but not sure if the live stream was up on the cellphones. #TammyMoorerTrial

Apparently, all 3 Moorer children were going to be called to testify but they were caught watching the live stream on laptop and cell phones. Big no no! Deputy is testifying as to what she saw now. #TammyMoorer

#TammyMoorer - Deputy Pike is in the courtroom close to Tammy each day. When she escorted her out of the courtroom on Monday and led her into the witness room with her family, that's when she saw them watching the live stream.

Now defense arguing that State's witnesses could have been watching from home before testifying. What a joke!!! Those witnesses have nothing to gain by not telling the truth.

  • #472
So a guy named McGowan who wasn't even a witness was allowed in the sequestered room with a computer?

Exactly. My heart hurts for them. They've lost so much, and they did nothing to deserve that.

Exactly and he didn't let the court know?!

  • #475
So is the Judge allowing them to testify..?

  • #476
Seriously -- he still gets to testify???

ETA: Being questioned on the sequestering violation.

The state calls Jade Pike to the stand. She says she was escorting Tammy Moorer out of the courtroom and when the door was opened to where her kids were Pike says she saw a laptop sitting on the table where she saw a live stream of the trial.

Defense is cross examining and she says since Monday, to her knowledge, she's not aware it's happened again.

She says on Monday is when she's notified the defense and also brought it to someone else's attention. The defense calls Christian Moorer to the stand.

So it doesn't matter what they did??

  • #479
Doing it once was enough to break the rules.

Judge is PISSED
