I feel NL did wrap it all up with a very precise bow & I have a good feeling. My heart feels sad though & my brain bruised from the defense. Thinking of the Elvis's; tough, tough day for them.

I now understand why the State took issue with that part of the judge's charge. He just explained to the jury that if the State proved TM was at the scene of the crime, but did not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she participated in the crime, they must find her not guilty.

Yikes. So if the video of the truck and all the phone records only get them to the point of believing TM was at the Landing that night, it's not enough.

Scott Peterson trial
Testimony: 5 months
Deliberations: Over 7 and a half days
Verdict: Guilty of first degree murder

Charles Manson trial
Testimony: 9 months
Deliberation: 9 days
Verdict: Guilty of murder and conspiracy to commit murder

Menendez brothers trial

First trial:
Testimony: 4 and a half months of testimony
Deliberations: Erik—19 days
Lyle—25 days
Verdict: Both deadlocked

Second trial:
Deliberations: 20 says
Verdict: Both guilty, each of two counts of first degree murder, as well as conspiracy to commit murder

I like that the judge is giving concise definitions to words necessary for this jury to consider in the specific charges.

I have seen Guilty verdicts come back quick also! Less than 1 hr.

Tammy looks upset!

what is the defense arguing about now?

He objected to the wording on the conspiracy charge instructions because “I don’t believe it’s that kind of case.”

Coulda put more effort into that objection, sir. Conspiracy is - to me - the most likely ‘guilty’ finding, of the two charges.

I wonder how the Elvis family is feeling. I can't even begin to imagine.

Positive thoughts to them and the jury right now.

Now it is hurry up and wait time for TM.

I think the fastest I've ever seen a jury verdict come back was 90 minutes. It won't be that fast in this case.

Tammy looks upset!

Only because she really has no control at this point. It's all in the hands of the 12 strangers (I hope they all are, anyway).

She keeps wiping her eyes and nose. I think she's been crying. She looks scared. But, I'm sure not nearly as scared as HE was. Moo

Now it is hurry up and wait time for TM.

In that case I hope they give her 2 days ..of wondering...Then rock her world with a guilty verdict...

Lawyers and judge are discussing the exhibits and deciding which exhibits will go back to the jury or if there's any objection to any exhibits going back.

I'm exhausted from the roller coaster of emotions and being so anxious, but I doubt I will be anything but restless until a verdict comes in. I can only imagine what this must be like for the Elvis family.
