The story I linked spoke to gun sellers in Utah and South Dakota. Wonder how much it varies from region to region.
It also says the makers of Ruger and Smith & Wesson weapons have seen stocks/sales/earnings slump in the last 3 months. I do wonder about other gunmakers.
The story also includes this nugget:
