2 = I grew up in a house with my brother and dad, and can guarantee that they might remember what I was wearing on a day, but my shoes and jewelry? Highly unlikely.

I really think Shawn raped Hailey and then disposed of her body afterwards. She was afraid of him for a reason, and maybe that is because he acted creepy around her, and made advances towards her that she didn't like. I'm wondering if she didn't fight back against him and then killed her afterward. Obviously if she had marks on her body because of fighting back someone is going to ask her "What happened'. The thing is this is a 14 year old girl we are talking about and if something like that happened you could bet you that as vocal as she was to her Grandmother about her fears that she would have told someone.

I agree that sweatpants and flip flops are normally worn around the house in December. Hailey was wearing jeans in the Christmas photo and was allegedly playing on David's Xbox when he left around 9 pm so if she was staying in for the evening, she might changed into her blue sweat pants then.

What was Hailey wearing besides blue sweatpants? I think I read it was a blouse not a sweatshirt. Clint said his daughter wasn't into makeup.

So, looking at weather and temperature, I went to http://weathersource.com and pulled the recorded temperature for Colorado City, TX. I had the option of several weather stations, none closer than about 20 miles from CC. but at Big Spring, the temps were definitely not cold.

Here's how I remember some of the basic story and dates. Please, I'd appreciate anyone pointing out if I remembered it wrong. By doing this, I have to say Sunday night to Monday morning is when something happened to Hailey, unless he went back to the house while she was still sleeping that Monday morning.

Christmas December 25, 2010 was on a Saturday. Hailey spent the night at Clint's.

On that Sunday night, Dec. 26th, Hailey was last seen playing on the xbox.

Monday morning comes. It's December 27, 2010. Billie looks in on Hailey, but doesn't touch her, and leaves for work. Hailey is supposely sleeping in. Shawn goes to his job, but quits. He supposely gets on a computer to look up unemployment eligibility or whatever. ???????????????????? pings

It's Monday afternoon when Shawn is back at the house. He's the last one to supposely see Hailey - he says she's going across street to her Dad's and then to a sleepover. That same Monday afternoon, her brother comes home and door is locked, and Shawn has a deer-in-headlights look.

On Monday night Shawn picks up Billie and they buy some medication and they seem to go right to sleep. Billie doesn't try to find out if Hailey is at her friend's despite Hailey broke a rule to ask her mother specifically and other oddnesses. Billie nods off not knowing where her daughter is, but maybe thinks she's at a sleepover. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Shawn goes off someplace Tuesday morning, Dec. 28th. He didn't tell Billie he quit his job yet. Billie is at work, calls her son to call Hailey at that friend's house, and eventually surmises Hailey needs to be reported missing on that Tuesday afternoon.

BBM. Tshirts may be normal attire in the Apalachians when it is 45-50 degrees but here in West Texas where we are acclimated to temps that can hover around 90-108, 6 to 9 months out of the year, when it dips down into the 40's and 50's, most of us are wearing coats and are cold.

Thank you. I wonder if Hailey had on underwear? If she was leaving the house in sweatpants and a t-shirt, she would likely wear under garments but if she intended on wearing the t-shirt and sweatpants to bed, she might remove them when she took off her jeans. MOO

I was just going to ask if anyone knew what the weather was like that day. I know that Texas is usually on the warm side. Her wearing flip flops in 60 degree weather would be fine as really it is not that cold out. My sister used to live in her flip flops! My dad when he was alive always used to get mad at her because she'd go out in dead winter with snow on the ground wearing them!
