Two of Misty's cousins allegedly had been visiting members of the Croslin's Family since Jan 09. "The day HaLeigh disappeared, Misty Croslin states her cousin had been staying in Crescent City, which is 13 miles from Satsuma, since he was released from jail in Jan 09, 1 month prior to HaLeigh's disappearance. Brandon is apparently the cousin Misty alleges messed with her and later Brandon was identified as the cousin that had inappropriate sexual contact with Misty, alto no charges were laid against him. On Brandon's myspace, he states he is 18 years-of-age, a lifetime gang member, a pimp, and homeless. His hometown is Nashville, TN. Next there is Cousin Joe from Ashland City,Tennessee, who was in Satsuma visiting 3 weeks before HaLeigh disappeared and was said to have been involved in a fight with Ron but the reports on this issue by family members are conflicting. Misty's parents said the issue over the gun between Joe and Ron happened 2 weeks before HaLeigh disappeared. Joe denies he was at HaLeigh's mobile home, Ron denies there was a fight. LE, who said according to their sources Joe is not a SO, was questioned by LE in TN one week after HaLeigh disappeared and altho he has not been cleared, LE has not questioned him since. Now to Chelsea and Timmy who had the blue van the night in question at their house. Last night I read the thread on the van and found a statement made by Chelsea identifying the relative staying with them to be Donald L S. not Joe. I believe Chelsea and Tommy live in Palatka, 12 miles from Satsuma. I found an interesting report on Misty's maternal cousin Josh O (whose alias is Charles T. O), who is registered in Michigan's offender database and currently on probation for attempted armed robbery. Josh O and several others planned and faked a robbery attempt at Speedway station with the knowledge and cooperation of the gas clerk. The clerk was charged after officers discovered the clerk was aware of the plan. Lindsy and Tommy own the van who live on Tyler in the same trailer park as Ron and Misty and it appears the van is shared amongst Misty, Chelsea, and Lindsy; however the night HaLeigh disappeared, the van was parked at Chelsea and Timmy's home. "Chelsea Croslin said the night HC disappeared, a family member was staying with them. She said around 4 am after receiving a call from Misty, they went outside to drive to HaLeigh's and she immediately noticed the van was not in the spot she left it. "I know I don't park like that and I was the last one to drive the van". A few hours later, another sign the van was tampered was reported; a scratch which is highly visible extending from behind the driver's side door handle to the rear tire. Tuesday Chelsea received a call from Misty begging Chelsea to admit she scratched the van, which Chelsea denied adding whomever was driving the van when the scrach was made, should have heard it. Chelsea said the FM staying with them may have taken the van, but from what I know based on info posted on this site, Cousin Joe may not be the relative that was staying there since she named the relative as DLS. Misty said she hasn't talked with Brandon since he left and that he is untrustworthy yet it appears the two had a close relationship. LE won't disclose info because it is part of their investigation. Just to confuse us more, Misty's maternal cousins from the same family are: Travis, Charlie, Brandon, and Josh who is currently incarcerated. Joe's siblings are Christy and Kayla.
