Has any doubt crept in to your 100% guilty belief?

I have no doubt that she is guilty. But for me, a big influencing factor was ALL THOSE PHOTOBUCKET images and sayings... that to me, was a window into her soul.

Sadly, even though they were stipulated to by both sides, I bet the jury never even found them in the huge pile of evidence on the multiple tables (if they even bothered to look).

I hope that the see those images and realize they were duped. They'll have to live with that for the rest of their lives.

Rest in peace Caylee... we know who killed you, and why.

I do believe that Casey is guilty of her daughters murder. Either way if Caylee drowned or was murdered by someone Casey did NOT show any emotion whatsoever towards it. I mean even when they showed her remains she did not become hysterical. Although I have to admit that some people on HLN and the lawyers on shows have made some good points about evidence For example the duct tape issue...yes KC most likely had the duct tape but George had access to it to so anyone had access to it or there being no DNA that linked KC to the crime scene. AGAIN let me stress I think she is completely guilty....

I think that exactly what KC did and the biggest thing that shows she did it is that with the chloroform coming into play here I believe she chloroformed the baby to put her completely out of it so that when the duct tape was placed on Caylee's mouth/nose the baby did not suffer from it. I think there was some sort of a teeny tiny bit of some motherly instinct there that she did not want her baby to suffer so she chloroformed her. AGAIN I think she is just as horrible and that it doesn't make her a good mother I am just simply pointing this out. Plus the apparent heart shaped sticker there. Even Jeff Ashton had stated that he hoped Caylee did not suffer.

As for how Caylee was buried when they were talking about the pets I thought to myself "Oh no that jury is going to have some reasonable doubt" because I immediately thought that Casey buried her like the pets after I heard that. Again let me stress I do think that she 110% guilty and that it is crazy that she got out. I was SHOCKED that she was found not guilty. I didn't want her to get death because of what her parents went through but I seriously thought it was going to be murder 1 and they were going to find her guilty of it. I was completely stunned when the verdict was read.

No doubt, none. She is a cold blooded murderer with no remorse. She knew what she was doing and what she did.
This is a horror show to justice is what it is.

I will say that Casey's reaction did give me pause. She almost seemed so greatful and relieved that they believed her, like she felt that they thought she was a good person as the whole world thought she was evil. She wasn't smug about it.

George and Cindy's reaction though looked like they were shocked and disgusted that she got away with it.

...and Ted Bundy looked and acted like a nice guy. Just ask his victims...oh,wait...we can't. If you believe Casey is a classic psychopath you can believe nothing she says or does. And I believe she is.

Since listening to the trial, there are only a few things that bother me, although I still feel, 100% that Casey is responsible for the death of Caylee. I can go along with an accident because of her neglagence & then she tried to cover it up with all her lies to make it look like she was in no way responsible for her daughters death. Accidental drowning in the pool was my initial guess when this case first started.

Once I heard the defense theory that George was involved, the first thing that entered my head was the jailhouse tape where Casey tells George & Cindy "don't worry, I didn't say anything". This could mean that she didn't say anything that would implicate her, or the family had a secret. Although I don't believe for one minute that she would sit in jail & not spill the beans on George, I do believe that she would sit in jail for Lee and throw George under the bus to cover both their behinds.

The one thing that bothered me the most was Spitz's testimony regarding the duct tape. I think that Spitz is way past his prime & at this point will say anything for money, so its hard for me to think this way, but, the only opinions I have are Dr G's and Spitz, both experts in their fields, with 2 very different opinions. Spitz's theory that the duct tape would have fallen off the face once decomp began makes sense to me. During decomp, if the skin melts (for lack of a better word) how would the tape stick to the skull if it was originally stuck to the skin?

Perhaps if the charges against her had been less, the jury would have found her guilty of neglagence in the death of Caylee and she would have served some time rather than getting off scott free. It also doesn't seem right that she has cost the state of Florida mega bucks & can just walk out of jail & not have to pay any of that money back! If her story regarding the accidental drowning is true, then thousands of dollars were spent looking for Caylee when she knew all along that she was dead, seems she should have to pay for that.

This jury just enabled Casey exactly as her family has her entire life, the verdict, once again, in her mind, said it's ok to lie to get your butt out of a jam.......and once again, it worked for her.

BBM

Good point about the duct tape never thought of that. It still throws me off though because why would someone place the tape on her skull? And plus it was wrapped 3 times so maybe that is why it didn't fall of?

The only thing that I question after this entire thing is why George didn't call the Police when he smelled the odor in the car. As former LE, he KNEW what it was and hadn't heard from his daughter or grand daughter in a month. He should have called and I'm not sure why he didn't....

But I still believe she is 100% guilty and laziness by the Jury got her off.

I have not wavered in my belief that she did it & I never will. I'm absolutely disgusted.

BBM, and jumping off this part.

Saw an ad that Bill OReilly is going to have that body language gal on tonight, re Casey's verdict reaction. If it's the gal he usually has on, she seems pretty good.

Haven't read whole thread, sorry if already mentioned

As for me...my opinion hasn't changed...she did it

Yes I am convinced that:

  • the state did not prove that she premeditated and then carried out the intentional murder of Caylee and I believe that she is both innocent and not guilty of that. So they overcharged and I think the jury was hip to that and may have held that against the SA from the get-go.
  • JA's amateurish acting job and his too-obvious pokes at Jose Baez didn't do the state any good. I don't think he's polished enough, sexy enough, subtle enough to pull off the bullying, derisive, and disdainful treatment he dished out to JB. JA started looking petty, juvenile, and negative. He must have just assumed that he had the jury in his pocket. But the jury started feeling for the underdog. But JB mushed on!! JB's tenacity and perseverence and especially his tireless APPEARANCE of such turned the jury around to rooting for HIM!!

I would like to know is there any one in that crowd of lawyers she has that might suspect that she is guilty.

i would hazard a guess that every single one of them suspects that she is guilty. What they were doing was their job; they were not there for ethical reasons.

Has any doubt crept in to your 100% guilty belief?

NO! NONE!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! Casey is still 100% GUILTY!!!

GA and CA and LA are all strangers to the truth

as is their offspring

it doesnt make her any less guilty

i never believed anything they said

if she hadnt have attacked them, they would have never told as many half truths as they did

still their lies have nothing to do with the truth

she killed Caylee

im o

I was 100% sure Casey was guilty of premeditated murder the day I found this site and read the excellent 31 day calendar.

But, a speck of doubt has entered my mind now, anyone else?

My doubt has come from:

1) Something fishy about GA & LA

2) I don't ascribe to "All Defense Teams are Devils" theories. That affection by the defense team displayed to Casey after the verdict. It was genuine. They honesty believe she didn't murder Caylee. It's like they all know the real truth.

I am now about 80% sure, and it's bugging the heck out of me.

Absolutely not, not a speck of doubt here.

I didn't really watch the closing arguments. But I will say the Prosecution dropped the ball in a MAJOR way by not ripping through GA's suicide note to make it clear for the jury.

If he was willing to kill himself out of guilt for contributing to the cover up of Caylee, why wouldn't he have made a deathbed confession?

If he is willing to die why not take the place of Casey and say "I did it, it was an accident!" It's not that hard to kill yourself in prison.

Why not do that if he was willing to die for this all if he really had something to do with it.

It's a sad day in America when jurors choose to believe a proven pathological liar.

Bill OReilly

The State was not able to show Casey being a bad mother previously (not because she wasn't but because she played the good mommy role well when needed).

In the Scott Peterson trial they had no cause of death but they had Amber Frey to show he was a liar and bad husband.

I think with COD they could have got her or with a history of DSHS investigating abuse claims they would have been fine, but with neither it was too big of a jump for the jury.

She said no to the deal and did not lead police to the body (and the duct tape) at an earlier stage and benefited from her callous nature.

BOTTOM LINE CASEY HAD TO BE

ARRESTED! SO THAT WHEN SHE DID FIND OUT CAYLEE WAS DEAD NO ONE WOULD BELIEVE HER ABUSE ALLEGATIONS

Cindy and george KNEW they were going to come out when she found out Caylee was dead.
But they were getting so many donations, they didn't mind leaving her there.
Casey in jail? or Caylee in the woods both!!!
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$CINDY$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Folks it is no coincidence Caylee was
:christmastree: found while they were out of town
exactly 2 weeks before Christmas!
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Cindy purposely perjured herself for Casey?

if you are gonna do it go big!
Cindy didn't admit to how+to+make+chloroform so that Casey would stay there NOT & get out. EVER!
they want ALL the proceeds form the story.

They are scared- getting deaths threats-
THEY JUST DON'T WANT TO DO THE TIME FOR THEIR CRIMES!!!

LAST THOUGHT
HOW MANY GRANDPARENTS HAVE YOU HEARD OF ATTEMPTING TO KILL THEMSELVES BECAUSE THEIR GRANDCHILD DIED? WHEN THEY HAVE 2 CHILDREN ALIVE AND WELL?
$$$$$$$$$$ was slowing down because caylee had been found dead!

:gthanks:
for your time
gngr~snap
sorry for typos

Respectfully snipped by me

Thank you for sharing

No snarkiness intended.

So is it your theory that Cindy was acting during that infamous 911 call? She seemed pretty distraught to me.

TIA

Well as for me.. I have always opined that this could have been a tragic accident that the liar KC tried to cover up.

I just thought the act of not reporting when there's the possibility the child could have been would have fallen under at least manslaughter
