Has Any Ramsey Defender Ever Given an Explanation for the Pineapple?

The headbash and garrote technique isn't new. Another case you could read up on is the murder of Bob Crane, who was strangled with an extention cord and struck over the head with a blunt instrument also.

That case was never solved either.

We're talking about the wacky note.... NOT the method of murder.

We're talking about criminality and how RDI attempts to remove criminality from this crime. The RN is pretty violent, with multiple references to death and killing, including beheading a child. Combine that with the garroted and headbashed victim and you have a grisly murder. Black tape and cord from unknown source, unknown blunt instrument, unknown male DNA, flashlight, jaggedly broken paintbrush handle all suggest criminal involvement, as opposed to filicidal parent involvement.

There's a vast difference between THREATENING to behead & actually beheading.

If we are to believe the RN should be taken at face value.... we return to the beginning....

why demand ransom for a kidnapped child who has NOT been kidnapped?

You would think with all that violent imagery in the ransom note that the Ramsey's would have tried harder to appear like they were following the directions of not calling police or telling anybody......

It makes some wonder if the reason they called all their friends over and didn't demand no uniformed police on the scene was because they knew their daughter was dead in the basement and that there was no kidnapper.

I believe they were DNA tested. NO ONE could have cooperated more than Fleet and Pricilla White.

I do not recall an issue with the cooperation of Fleet and Priscilla White.

My point remains that since LE used DNA evidence to clear suspects whose DNA did not match -- such as Fleet and Priscilla -- the D.A., Mary Lacy, could logically and properly then use the same DNA evidence to clear the Ramseys whose DNA did not match either.

DNA was never used by itself to clear anyone.

Besides, Mary Lacy's actions in this case have been anything but proper.

Oh pulease!!! It suggests a writer with an overactive imagination who watches a lot of crime movies and reads a lot of crime novels. "Grow a brain"
Everything else is staging to cover-up incestuous relations with their daughter.

You left out too much time on their hands!

LinasK, in the interview w/JR and the BPD, John refers to the day of the 26th using various tenses of the word 'drama'.... I just noticed that tonight... Had you caught that??? Humm... "drama"....Hardly a word I would use in describing the aftermath of finding my daughter dead in my basement at the hands of an intruder/killer.

Something tells me that living w/ a person like Patsy WAS an endless series of dramas & melodramas.

I bet he used that word to describe their life even BEFORE JB turned up dead in the basement.

You all must be masochists to be humoring Wudge and holdontoyourhat (heresyourhatwhatsyourhurry) - !?

I feel almost guilty with the sheer mirth I've garnered from these two...so much so that I'm not going to post on this thread anymore.

I think Jonbenet deserves a little more rigorous logic applied to this case than these two fruitcakes are willing to give....

I agree, but "never let them see you bleed," and all that.

There's a vast difference between THREATENING to behead & actually beheading.

But theres not a very big difference between beheading a small child and garroting and headbashing a small child. The violence in the RN is on par with the violence that was used. Whoever wrote the RN killed JBR, IMO, and it was someone very much accustomed to using violence.

If we are to believe the RN should be taken at face value.... we return to the beginning....

What I said was that the RN was pretty violent. There's no disputing that.

Its really not that complicated. An intruder who wanted to kidnap JBR for any reason besides money could write a fake ransom note to mislead and delay. Later the kidnapper changes his mind and kills JBR instead. RDI claims any decent ransom kidnapper would take the body, but ransom wasnt necessarily why this intruder came in the first place. The lower than expected amount of $118K should've been a clue that ransom was never a motive.

Yep, I sorta think that is why JR used various tenses of the word 'drama' to describe the day's events on the 26th...in the BPD interview... "Drama"... That is exactly what it was all right... Your daughter has been kidnapped/murdered/found and the best adjective you can come up with is drama.

Makes me think he was stuck thinking about listening to a female family member lay out for him how each act of this play would unfold...

I'm not an expert or anything BUT I kind of think beheading a child in a basement might be a tad messier than simply bashing her in the head & strangling her. A even a bit more than even your AVERAGE criminal is going to undertake under ANY circumstances.

Kidnappers who change their mind.... TAKE their note & don't chance being tied to the scene of the kidnapping turned murder.

Oh, I REALLY like that.

Great observation, angelwngs.
