Has Any Ramsey Defender Ever Given an Explanation for the Pineapple?

not to mention, why would an intruder bother to put the grate back, esp. after JB screamed??? He wouldn't.Just as he wouldn't bother to pull her lj's back up,either.
This whole thing is just plain silly.

I know...okay..this intruder...after writing the RN, placed the Sharpie back in the pen holder, put clean panties on JB, pulled her up longjohns, wrapped her in a blanket, wiped down the flashlight and batteries..and then put the grate back. I agree....why would he have bothered to do that? I have a hard time imagining some crazed pedophile putting JB in clean panties, pulling up her longjohns and wrapping her in the blanket in the first place. Why would he have done that....just more time wasted. And then we are supposed to believe that he put the grate back too!.

Yeah, he should have left a mint on the pillow while he was at it! LOL

LOL...yeah REALLY!!! Its amazing that an "intruder" can come into a home, kill a child...and be so neat and tidy. He must have been raised really well.

that was funny

"ok, ok ok ok... JBR you can have some pineapple and burke you can have some tea
but then its off to bed... ok"

might have been the last words that were friendly towards JBR

Be it a lawyer, investigator, or just an IDI theorizer...I myself don't recall hearing explanations about the pineapple.

JonBenet ate pineapple an hour before she died. According to the parents, they didn't give to her...by their account she should have been asleep at the time.
The pineapple wasn't left out on the table...so JonBenet did not get up and come down and eat it.
The needed components (bowl, pineapple, possibly even the sppon) I believe were not within JonBenet's reach nor was there evidence of her using a chair or stool to get at things. So she didn't come down and get it herself in the middle of the night.

Patsy's fingerprints were on the bowl...and not Jonbenet's. Further proof that Jonbenet did not get the pineapple herself in any form.

It is beyond belief to think a strange intruder broke in, woke Jonbenet up...walked her down to the kitchen, fed her...and then an hour later killed her in the basement all with 3 other people supposedly sleeping in the house.
And definitely doesn't fit with the official sort of intruder theories offered by Ramsey investigators.

So this means someone in the family gave it to JonBenet...and it sure points to Patsy, who insists absolutely no knowledge about any of it.

Convenient how Ramsey investigators skip over the point of the pineapple.

I'm just an IDI theorizer, and I can tell you what I believe the pineapple was all about.

It was about keeping JBR hydrated.

If (emphasis here is on the 'if') JBR was to be kidnapped and removed from the US, there would be problems facing her captors. There is evidence of captors coping with these problems all over the crime scene. JBR was redressed in long johns, suitable for transporting her in cold weather, correct? There was duct tape and wrist cord in place, suitable for moving her unwillingly from the house to a car, correct?

And there was pineapple. Some to be fed to JBR. and some already fed to JBR. The alternative, I suppose, would be to drive thru McDonalds for a Happy Meal??

As you can see it becomes more complicated when you start to include the facts of the case, instead of the claims. IOW, just because there were only PR's and BR's prints on the bowl doesn't mean the bowl wasn't owned by an intruder.

It was speculated that Patsy used the tea bags on her eyelids to keep them from getting puffy. I've heard of this being done before.

I thought there was one tea bag - but, if there were two it might be plausible or Patsy was thinking on her feet for once, kinda all lightning-like as if she were a criminal masta-mind...yeah...

Sarcasm translated: probably the tea bag was made for tea.

the bowl was owned by the killer.... PR

Maybe just forget about that pesky DNA then? And why there was never any ABFDE consensus on who wrote the RN? And why the DA goes out of their way 12 years later to proclaim the R's as innocent? And why PR calls 911 hours or even a day earlier than the RN says to? I mean, that would provide more time to remove fingerprints from the bowl they owned, wouldn't it?

One major problem... kidnappers don't molest their victims, and if they did they'd take 'em out of the house, and they keep their victims alive, they're worth more that way!

no need to be sarcastic with me... I'm an RDI.

Maybe just forget about the unbroken spider web on the window sill and the lack of footprints outside???

This kidnapper would not be interested in the ransom.

This kidnapper may not have been aware of your 'rule' that kidnappers aren't allowed to molest their victims before dressing them in long johns, feeding them pineapple, and stuffing them into a car for a ride over the rocky mountains in winter.
