Has Any Ramsey Defender Ever Given an Explanation for the Pineapple?

No it isn't, not always. Read up on Leopold and Loeb, rich kids who kidnapped a boy supposedly for a ransom, and instead murdered him for thrill.

IMO its very naive to pretend to know the motives, or what criminals would or would not do under certain circumstances, when you don't even know who did it. It wasn't until after Leopold and Loeb were in custody that their true motives were discovered.

Supposedly for ransom?

At least they remembered to CALL & demand money.

Just because a kidnap victim is killed it doesn't mean it isn't a kidnapping.

Kidnappers KIDNAP the body.... otherwise they're in the wrong line of work.

What you consider to be "fact", I don't. It may be true. It may not be true.

Assuming it was pineapple, we don't know where the alleged FRESHLY CUT pineapple came from. Moreover, assuming that it was freshly cut, we don't know where the outside rind was removed. We don't know when John Benet ate it. We don't know where she ate it. And we don't know how much she ate.

A lot of case lore, nothing more.

Excuse me if I believe the coroner that did the autopsy rather than all the dancing around the facts.

If Patsy trimmed the outside rind off the freshly cut pineapple, the rind trimmings should have been found in the house.

NOT if what was prchased was fresh pinapple in a bacb pre cored and sliced and trimmed that is what we usually buy.

Just because a kidnap victim is killed it doesn't mean it isn't a kidnapping.

Exactly. Just because JBR was killed doesn't mean it wasn't a kidnapping. Thank you.

Kidnappers KIDNAP the body.... otherwise they're in the wrong line of work.

Characterizing JBR's kidnappers/killers as stupid seems redundant, since kidnapping/killing children seems inherently stupid.

IOW anyone who kidnaps children or children's bodies are probably in the wrong line of work no matter what, don't you think?

Besides, JBR was in the process of being kidnapped. Thats according to the evidence. Technically she was kidnapped when she was removed from her bed by force, as evidenced by the cord fibers found in her bed.

Right.

I believe they had a dna match in the OJ case.

Correct.

OJ's alongside bloody shoe prints, blood drops were found leading away from the front of Nicole's residence. Based on DNA tests, those blood drops were determined to match OJ's blood. I considered that to be the very best evidence, and I considered it to stand alone in spite of the fact that EDTA was found in other blood drops that were also found to have been OJ's blood.

From the facts presented at trial, we can reasonable find that OJ murdered Nicole and Ron Goldman. We can also reasonably find that the LAPD framed a guilty man.

After Mark Furhman admitted to having used the N word and later stood on his fifth Amendment right to not answer questions under oath, I was the first to say online that the jury would almost assuredly acquit OJ, because I knew that the jury was heavily weighted with African-American women. I said they would never vote to convict him after hearing Furhman.

Interestingly, I was savaged by almost every online poster after making that call.

After hearing all of the evidence, I said that my vote would be: murder two for Nicole, murder one for Ron Goldman. However, I said that OJ would be acquitted.

Not just three different places, three criminally conspicuous places. Places where an investigator would expect to find perpetrator DNA, not factory worker DNA.

Value add, beyond full credit.

(ask to assist your professor in evidence class)

A receipt showing that Patsy had bought a whole pineapple was found where?

Please forwardl last weeks grocery bill of yours to the forun if you would please cut off ony info that shows where you reside. Thanks. If you didnt lkeep it and threw it away you are like 98% everyone else.

LOL..yeah, I wonder if the investigators looked for any little pieces of that nasty fruit lying around? I HATE fruitcake! I think that actually there is just one of them in the world, and people just keep passing it around.

I'm just surprised one of 'em didn't fall off the roof looking for reindeer tracks....

Thanks for the full on belly-laughs I've had today (and last night!) 'holdontoyourhat'....And I mean that - I haven't laughed so hard in looong time - certainly not in conjunction to this forum...

Kidnapping is not inherently stupid, there are millions made around the world from all kinds of kidnapping.

Killing your kidnap victim is not necessarily inherently stupid depending on how you look at it...a dead victim will increase the chances police will continue to look for you, but a live victim who you release will increase the chances that you might be identified.

I don't think you can technically or legally be 'kidnapped' if you are not taken out of your own home. The best that could be said is that there was an attempted kidnapping or a false imprisonment.

I read the evidence differnently, I don't think there was a kidnapping attempt at all, I don't think the ransom note was written in good faith by a person who intended to kidnap her for money, I believe the ransom note is a red herring written by the real killer: Patsy Ramsey.

It is also theoretically possible that the ransom note was written by an intruder, but whoever wrote the note never intended on a kidnapping for money.

yea yea thats the ticket

please withdraw 118,000 or else

NOT 1 MILLION...NOT HALF A MILLION

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh of course not

118,000 is what the faction wanted

nice try john way to make it look like it has something to do with your bonus

this is first grade stuff

bull crap alert

Wudge, my point was that even though the DNA was damning evidence & imo PROOF beyond a shadow of a doubt of OJ's guilt... the defense was able to inject 'reasonable doubt' in the jury's mind about the integrity of the DNA.... the collecting/handling of the samples.

Basically, they worked to CONFUSE people just enough that they weren't sure.

As far as Fuhrman..... he was too arrogant & oppositional to just come out & say, "Gee, I really don't remember ever saying that but I guess it's possible I might have used the word in the past." Duh.

Is there anyone on EARTH who would have been shocked to learn that a white person used this word? Surely, the defense could have found blacks who sometimes used the word also.

That whole trial was such a travesty. So sad for Nicole & Ron.

Or she was murdered in her bed. there is absolutely no evidence that she was kidnapped. There is a plethora of evidence that she was murdered and the wine cellar scene STAGED to appear as though she were kidnapped. Get with the program Holdon.

I agree, because for one thing, JR could've afforded more than $118K in ransom.

Kidnapping, a multi-million dollar 'international industry' as you put it, is still stupid though.

Allow me to explain. You're on the smart road when you go to college, get a degree, become a scientist and win the Nobel Peace Prize. You're on the stupid road when you become a 🤬🤬🤬🤬, join a gang, and kidnap for money. See what I mean??

Smart & stupid is besides the point..... you have very smart 'bad guys' who live very successful types of lives. That's NOT so stupid.

What we're talking about is whether a person succeeds in their goals.... whether it's within the law or not.

Tell that to the Slave Traders who are kidnapping as we speak. More like on the low life road.

What has this got to do with Jon Benet anyway? Nothing.

Oh my, such health conscious kidnappers.... bottled water at room (car) temperature wouldn't be good enough for them... they bring along fresh fruit for their little trip?

Once they are out of Boulder they can stop at any 7-11 & grab a few drinks & snacks.... throw the kid in the trunk of the car & you're just a regular hungry customer.

yeah, didn't stop Joseph Duncan from taking Shasta Groene into a Denny's in public to feed her.

"Very smart bad guys" is an oxymoron. If they were truly smart, they would live 'very successful types of lives' within the law.

And this is totally relevant to JBR, because the RN, the garrote knotting, the black tape over the mouth, the flashlight, the headbash, the DNA mixed with blood, etc., are all evidence of a criminal at work, not a filicidal parent at work. Staging is a myth.

Maybe Shasta wasn't as dangerously dehydrated as JB was? No need to rush? lol

Unlike the jury in the murder trial of OJ Simpson, I would have found him guilty (murder two for Nicole, murder one for Ron Goldman).

Okay Wudge, I'd like to hear more about your thoughts on OJ.
