I learned today that my ophthalmologist's office has reopened with stringent safety protocols in force. Patients must wear masks, temperatures will be taken when entering the facility, no guests can accompany patients. My April 4 appointment was canceled due to the pandemic, and I will call tomorrow to reschedule. Likewise, my April 15 mammogram was canceled, rescheduled for May 15, and canceled again. The outpatient imaging center has strict safety rules in place, so I will call tomorrow to schedule my annual mammogram. Various outpatient facilities that are part of the extensive Beaumont health system appear to be reopening, so I will check to see when I can resume physical therapy. I'm beginning to feel a dark cloud lifting and that there is a rainbow on the horizon
