I know someone who worked closely with Richie years ago, when he Heather first started dating. Heather was flying into the same airport as my friend and was apparently nervous about flying alone. Richie paid to upgrade my friend's ticket to first class so he could sit next to Heather and make her feel more comfortable.

Let's just say that was one favor my friend didn't mind doing!

Just saw on GMA that Richie and Heather might have split up because he messed around on her. Supposedly she found an e-mail that someone they both knew had sent to him and it contained provocative photos of the woman. It's in the new People mag..

I heard this morning that it was an "ex-assistant" that used to work for one or both of them in the past. Apparently, she was sending him XXX e-mails that contained NEKKID pics of her. Richie told her that while he didn't ask the chick to send the pics, he didn't delete them either.

Somtimes I wonder about people who have or supposedly have affairs see in the other woman? Most often than not the wife is prettier. Guess looks aren't all that matter.

I gotta say that I think Heather blew this thing way outta proportion. :truce: I would have called my husband and talked to him about the photos first. It doesn't sound like she gave him a chance to explain anything - she just filed - unbeknownst to him.

Who knows what happened prior with this girl and why she no longer works for Richie. It sounds like the marriage was over before she intercepted the emails and she is using them as an excuse to file - putting the blame on Richie rather than her own diva antics, which insiders say fueled most of their problems.

I would have only filed for divorce if I found emails that my husband had been sending to the ex-assistant, not vice versa. It doesn't make sense to me. Did Heather find any incriminating emails from Richie TO the ex-assistant??
