All right you guys. No one has said why that light brown hair is under that black hair in the picture of Tiny Tom, Suri, and Katie on the front page of the book. It is as plain as day on the left side...it would actually be Suri's right side. That is real hair and it is light brown. That baby can't have light brown hair under her black hair but it is right there for the world to see and it looks like baby hair to me. So give me your impressions please because I really want to know. Something is wrong with that picture.

In amongst all the excitement at finally getting glimpse of Suri (yes she is gorgeous), i noticed something else: after getting this exclusive, clearly being on good terms with Holmes and Cruise, i'm surprised Vanity Fair have called Holmes by her old name Katie:

I don't see it being a wig? I just see softer, finer hair. I have that even near my temples. Just new hair growing in. I also dont see it being a different color. It looks darker on the top of her head because theirs more of it, it's denser there. Smaller amounts just look lighter to me, not a whole other color.

i don't know how anyone can look at that picture and not think the baby has a wig on. its just the strangest thing. however, i have to believe the famous photographer, who took the pic, would have adjusted the wig to cover the hair showing IF in fact it was a wig. so, i guess its real hair, just strange, as is the whole baby thing.

It looks like they might have tried to smooth her hair down with vaseline or something. In one picture it's real thick, and in the other it looks smoothed down.

Regardless, she's a lovely, happy, looks a little shy, baby.

Babies are a gift from God.... tho I don't support Tom and his "antics", I wish the best for the family and the child.

I see little wisps of light brown/blondish hair at the part and near the bangs. She is really pretty. Looks like a healthy and happy baby.

The Chinese gov't was probably unwilling to give the baby up because of the Scientology crap. Wonder how much they got paid to give her up. Is Suri and Asian name? They obviously lost two months in the scuffle to get their Chinese baby as this kid's no 4 months old. Sad about the loads of makeup to cover up a birthmark. Too bad they didn't spend a little more on a nicer toupee. :waitasec:

Funny that you should mention the baby being Asian. The website www.defamer.com mentions the possibility of more than one baby being used for the photo op (Asian on left and Caucasian on right). Heck, I don't know what to believe.
