Here are two media quotes that explain this part of the motion argument (denied):

I feel like I read the left somewhere too...is the article "updated" I did see the family had to change incorrect info on an article. No idea which one.

Here's what I could find, and now that I reread, although at first I thought it didn't say which armpit, I read it now as meaning the right. Both breasts were targeted.

"Ten to 15 holes or puncture marks were seen on Scott's bra, which had one of its straps cut.
Two cuts that were 1 to 2 inches long were found on the left bra cup and one cut that was about 2 inches long was found on the right cup, along with smaller holes and "a lot of holes right under the armpit area,"


I believe he doesn't say right or left in the armpit clause because the whole section I bolded is talking about her right side.
He also says there were at least twenty stabs to the womb, and he doesn't identify any particular side that got the worst of it. All he specifies is the vertical placement relative to the waistband.

The Maui News, March. 20, 2015 article is the one I'm referring to as far as to the location of the rips in her bra. I could've sworn I read it was in the left armpit but looking over it again, it doesn't specify left or right side. It does however say that the skirt holes are concentrated on one side from which I deduced that she was attacked in her car.

That said, gloves were found on another beach and if they reveal that her blood is on them, I think he got out of the truck, walked around the back, put the gloves on and then attacked her in her seat.

Why would his alibi include the general area where all of her stuff was found? Maybe so he could try to pin it on someone else.

BBM would you explain your thinking on this part a bit more, please? He was "positive" her headlights were behind him at Twin Falls, so she would have had to double back to be killed by someone else, it seems to me.

It looks like one house on the property. Beautifully maintained which is tough to do on the eastside. I can imagine he misses the trees and the jungle sounds and fresh air but oh well, he should've thought about that before he destroyed so many lives.

Lol I have no idea if grandpa's been cooperative. Would you let searchers come in your house or on your property to search for things? I wouldn't. I'm almost certain any and all searches were conducted by LE with proper search warrants in hand.

Yes, i have wondered about that. It seemed like he was trying to set up an alternate explanation, for a stranger if not a particular person. But then it made NO sense when the clothing showed up so far away from Twin Falls but so close to where he says they drove.

I remember in the interview he was asked if someone could be trying to frame him, and he said maybe her family ...
how bizarre if he then got the idea to plant evidence to frame up a supposed frame job of him. As if anyone would buy that. I'm not saying I think he did that, but the interview did go into that territory. Of course the reporter did not offer any encouragement other than drawing him out.

I really wish Malika Lincoln had asked him who he was talking to during the interview. He kept clarifying his answers with someone as if he was nervous or didn't know the answer. I have a sneaky suspicion it was one of his elders. I think they told him it was a good idea to "clear the air" regarding Charli by granting an interview (because they probably believed him when he said he was innocent). His speech (language wise) was tempered, up until she asked him if he thinks they'll find her and he retorts, "I f-king hope so."

I've been trying to play catch up and I think I confuse myself even more. Where were these clothes found? The body still has not been found has it? If her jaw bone was found was there flesh attached or just bone?

I thought the same thing Loio, he f-ing hopes so. In hindsight hearing his words again its almost like he's saying ~ I put the stuff there to clear my name I f-ing hope someone finds it.
