Thank you (all) for letting me put the thoughts out there again. Sometimes useful (to me anyway) thoughts come up through simply writing and watching how it goes.Nicely done Pua.
I believe Charli never left Haiku. I believe he waited for her near her home. I believe he used the garage in the Facebook pic for some things. I believe the evidence was planted or dropped in haste.
I believe the skull painting marks the spot he ultimately discarded her where the red ink blob is.
hgo, ooh, I had forgotten about the garage pics, but yes, I agree there is significance in which shots he has chosen to post, including the garage, and the skull. Did you or anyone identify the geographical spot correlating to the red blob? That's a very interesting idea.
Does anyone have the direct link to the skull post here on WS and the discussion?
I am happy to hear I have company in thinking her home vicinity was a likely spot. It's the only location where he has full control of meeting up with her. His talking her into doing his will is not a factor. It's where she was always headed. He might even have gone to Makawao shortly after work.
Facebook posting proves nothing about where you are, especially if someone else agrees to log in for you and post. Especially posting shares and images with no written commentary. To reiterate what I spec'd in my long post, he could have set up the posting from after work time because he expected to be attacking her in the late afternoon.
We've always tended to look at that FB posting as if had something to do with setting up the timeline for the invented late evening trip to Keanae, but it didn't "work" in any meaningful way. Remember the FB posting, if pre-arranged, was set up before any variables were thrown into the timeline that possibly got in SC's way. Specifically, it would be great to know if he was aware of the dinner party for BS's birthday, which was for close family members. He would only have known if Charli had informed him. It was a Sunday evening and Charli worked early on Monday. He may have expected her to be home quite a bit earlier.
There's a "chunk" of his time (roughly 4-5 hours) that's not accounted for even on Facebook, other than his lame story about going out to Keanae with his truck, getting stuck, and hitching back. The whole time between his getting off work from Mana Foods at 3 PM and Charli leaving her sister's house, which are documented by people other than SC, are a complete mystery as far as I know, but please correct me. What was he doing? If the Facebook posting was real, than between 4:15 and 8:30 is still wide open.
