So time is an issue... could he have possibly done all this in the allotted time? Forget where the truck wasn't stuck and remember no way she was going anywhere with him. Did she even meet him knowingly or did he wait for her somewhere on her way home from her mothers house? Maybe she agreed to give him a ride home.
Getting back to the time issue. Leaves his house at 8:30p
he met with Taylor between 12am and 2am and skyped with Cass at 2/2:30 am, acting odd around both of them. If time is an issue maybe he didn't go out Hana on Sunday night at all. Is there really anything that indicates he did?
Step-Grandfather allegedly sees him at 11p, ok, so what if he did. (I feel like this will be debunked) but maybe he didn't leave the property at all. Charlie, either knocked out or dead, her truck and Nala are hidden somewhere close to the property.
He needs to clean out her car, (how much stuff could possibly be in it?) so he can scrap it, but he has to get rid of her stuff, the blanket and DVD. He keeps the computer to pawn.
He isn't really under pressure until Tuesday morning. He didn't think he needed to rush Sunday night.

I want so badly for her family to have closure and justice.

I wouldn't say "no way she was going anywhere with him." He could have charmed her, drugged her, or knocked her cold.

Like I posted before he *could* have been home by 11-something and finished up later. We know he went out later to meet/allegedly sell drugs to Taylor. What did he do after that?

Nala turning up in Nahiku on Monday morning indicates that he was in Nahiku some time Sunday night or the wee hours of Monday morning.

Agree with Nikki that the phone ping places Charli's phone at Paraquat's bay - I think it was 10:46 or 10:56 that night. We will see what his phone records say. I think he took her vehicle. It makes more sense to me than transferring everything to his.

Agree that he wasn't under any pressure. Actually, I think he was caught off guard that everything happened so quickly and that the police were at his door Tuesday AM.

Trying to salvage everything of value was another of his countless huge mistakes.

I want justice for Charli and her family, also peace for his family members, and for Taylor, Cassie, and Charli and SC's former friends and co-workers. All were affected and some traumatized by this horrible, vicious crime.

Anyway, CK described a serious relationship with SC in which she stayed at his house for two weeks in October 2013. She says he paid for everything during those two weeks and was very affectionate with her. No lack of PDA in this relationship, they were very public with their relationship. SC still looked like he had googoo eyes for Cassie.

Cassie jumped into a scene she thought was really cool and she wanted to be a part of. She saw an accelerant in SC to propel her to belonging and popularity without having to go through the normal channels like school or work. Raves and bars and Street party Gal. She was instasomebody being the drug dealers Moll. IMO thats who she is. I dont care for her. She is such a flash in the pan wannabe full of herself quickie. She played SC like a one string pail and broomstick harp.

I disagree Peter. After watching her in court yesterday, she was very strong and firm in her answers. She fell in love with someone who adored her. That feels good for any woman. She didn't do anything wrong. She didn't pull the trigger on Charli's death. SC wanted Charli gone long before she came along. Well not long but days before CK stepped on to the scene. I got the sense from CK that she felt extremely betrayed and maybe even a little frightened. I don't think she knew about SC's darkside and his truck bed of ex girlfriends and drugs. SC wasn't "balling" so what status are you assuming she was after in rural Maui?

It has more to do with Rivera. He doesn't necessarily ask questions in chronological order. And often his date references were vague. I've noticed an all around lack of use of the year 2014 in regards to asking questions. Rivera has reviewed testimony with his witnesses so between the two of them they are clear on the days and times but he doesn't do a good job of spelling it out for the jury.

That's been my observation at least. Btw, zero drama between the defense and prosecution yesterday. They were polite and cordial. Apo even helped Rivera find an evidence photo.

Capobianco made the Skype call at "about 7:30 a.m. my time, so it was 2:30 a.m. here," Kupstas said. She said she was tired and "half asleep" and couldn't remember what Capobianco said before she went back to sleep.

"I was upset," she said. "I didn't talk to him for a few days."

First Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Robert Rivera asked if Capobianco had mentioned how he felt about children.
"He did not like children," Kupstas said. "He told me he hated babies."
She said she "shrugged it off at first and said, 'You can't hate babies, that's impossible' and let it go."

She said Capobianco also told her he had hitchhiked back to Haiku after his truck stalled in Keanae, hitchhiked to his job at Mana Foods in Paia the next morning and got a ride home from a friend or co-worker.
When she asked what might have happened to Scott, "he said that she could have pulled over to pee or something . . . 'cause pregnant women pee a lot."

11 PM is impossible with the phone ping @ 10:46. My guess is that was closer to midnight - 1 AM when he returned home. The phone records will tell the tale.

Right....I was being facetious, but also unsure if SC, alone, claimed grandpa saw him home at 11 or if gp actually told the police he saw him then. GP is on the witness list (isn't he?) so presumably he has been questioned by MPD at least once. If he claims SC was home by 11, then, major Hmmmmmmm about gp.
