Ok sorry I did not know about the Marine. I don't have tv...at all. I am getting my info mostly from internet news sites and here. Which, by the way, I've been lurking here awhile and have found you people pretty amazing.

I was firmly on the fence at first, although I don't know how much of that was wishful thinking...it just tears out my soul when I learn parents have harmed their children. It really does bother me that I sense little or no desperation from these parents. Desperation to find their daughter, I mean. But thats my viewpoint. I hope I'm wrong.

I don't have tv either lol. I could afford either cable or Internet, but not both, so I went with Internet! Just in case you didn't know, you can watch some shows online. One link is tvpc.com, and I think there is another where a lot of posters watch Nancy grace.

But she did. I know what a lot of you are saying and understand. I also know that people are not always what they appear. But there is just something in my gut-not sure what- that tells me that although DB was very irresponsible, I don't believe she harmed that child. I just don't. I find it easier to believe that someone took advantage of the situation rather than a blacked out mom without a car being able to dispose of the child and cover all their bases without any witnesses. There have been plenty of cases where children are stolen from thei own homes. Look at Jessica Lunsford and Elizabrth Smart for an example. I know many had the fathers of those two girls tried and convicted and setting off hinky meters all over the country. But they were innocent. I am not ready to convict this woman when there could very well be someone who has Lisa and she needs to be found.

:wagon:

BBM: This is a great point -- I do NOT see "desperation" from the parents ...

The parents seem to be too "cool, calm and collected" ...

MOO ...

I agree 1000000000000%. I don't drink much anymore but when I was younger, I did some pretty dumb stuff while drinking that would never have even occurred to me to do when I was sober.
Guess we all know the last words of many a drunk:

"Here...hold my beer and watch this!"

Too right.

It's a sad situation, but the way you put it made me laugh, thanks!

The Marine? Help? Who?

She doesnt evev drive.

How do we know she doesn't actually drive? Yes, she doesn't have a license.... but that doesn't mean she doesn't drive. I drove for months without a license... and you wouldn't believe how many people out there drive without them. I was young and stupid... and someone who gets drunk while being the sole caretaker of 3 young children doesn't seem all that law-abiding or responsible to me. She could very well be driving, just not legally.

JMO though.

I understand. But people don't have to be magical, or even smart to pull this off, as history tells is wrt past cases. Or heck, even sober. Some people have just been blind lucky and never caught. It's possible, IMO, that she was drunk and accidentally killed her baby and her husband helped cover it up. I just don't know. She seems to have no idea when she last saw her infant. Like I said, I'm on the fence, but her story keeps changing, and she will no longer talk with LE, and that's a huge red flag to me. Again, I'd be in LE's faces until my child was found. DB seems to be more interested in her media image than finding her baby.

My opinions...

This is weird...I just GOOGLED 3624 North Lister and did the 360* turnaround view, and there is a woman driving a pickup on the GOOGLE "street" view that looks like Deborah Bradley!

I think she pulled it off alone. Why would her boyfriend (they're not married), the father of the baby, help her cover it up? He would have zero reason to do that. I think DB acted alone... I think she was drunk as a skunk, but when she realized she rolled over on her baby and killed her baby, her cover-up adrenaline kicked in. IMO

An 8 year old and a 6 year old can talk! I am stunned that something hasnt leaked on what the kids said, and even more stunned that Mom wouldnt be drilling them over and over to find out what happened while she was incapacitated. LE has talked to the kids once? Do I have that right?

I don't know about the "rolled over on her baby" part, but I believe that DB is most likely responsible for what happened to Lisa. Daddy Dearest is covering both of their azzes so he doesn't lose custody of his only son along with the loss of Baby Lisa (assuming that he is her father). jmo

Yes, the rolling over on the baby is my theory (for the moment.. we'll see if it changes...)

I don't know if JI would lose custody though. At least he had a job, and he wasn't at home drinking the night the baby disappeared.

FWIW, I was stupid enough years ago to ride with my brother while he was hammered and driving. I was surprised that he drove like a sober person. Of course his reaction time would have got us killed if someone would have cut us off or blew the light, but his actual driving was good.

I guess my point is that I believe it's possible DB accidentally killed her baby, then drove off and hid her body somewhere. I agree with the adrenaline factor, too. Plus it was rather late, and I would imagine traffic would not have been so heavy, so easier to pull off.

...up and down North Lister. It's a very nice neighborhood. Next door to DB's house (to the right) is a home with a huge, old, possibly hollow pine tree on the front lawn.

I suppose the dogs would have hit on it if there were a baby's body inside. (Thinking of that other strange midwestern case where the perp hid the bodies in a hollow tree.)

Also, it's easy to find out all the neighbor's names on the reverse search websites. The drinking buddy's name is there, for the curious.

The BING birdseye view of the neighborhood shows many backyard pools and many sheds. I suppose they have all been searched.

Well, I would talk with them and ask questions, but not drill them. Drilling them would scare them and most likely cause them to blurt out something just to ease their stress. As frantic as I'd be, they're still just little kids. Also, if they were asleep, they may not know anything anyway.

That said, if they were mine, they'd both be in therapy ASAP, and any information they remembered about that night would be passed along to LE.

IMO

There is just something strange about the whole situation. None of it makes any sense, not one thing makes sense. The entire situation wouldn't even make a good book b/c no one would believe it.

Which leads me to believe that there are so many lies tangled up that it's quite possible that Lisa is alive. If everything they've said were true, I'd have no faith that Lisa is alive. Only the lies give me hope. Sadly.

Isn't the face blurred out? What indicates that it is Deborah?

...just that the body size, shape of face, kid in vehicle...it MIGHT be her.

Face is blurry. It's an old pickup with a lot of junk in the rear (no pun intended.)

I meant that his son would not be allowed to remain in the care of Deborah when Jeremy is not present or without supervision. JI and DB are not married, and regardless of DB's proclamation today, Jeremy's son is not "her boy".
