Holly Bobo's Remains Have Been Identified

I'm glad her skull was found at least. I'm sure they will spend the next week trying to locate the rest of her remains. I just hope beyond hope when they do discover the rest of her, that there is something there that ties Zach Adams and his bellowing friend James Autry to this crime. At this point in time, this case still seems pretty circumstantial to me in regards to having solid proof that the actual perpetrators are locked up. That circus about the cell phone video and whether it even exists or not... who saw it, who didn't....... isn't going to get a conviction, certainly not a death penalty conviction. It's all hearsay, and in this case it seems to just be a bunch of people trying to rat out on each other to get themselves a better deal with the D.A. I fully expect the charges against the Percy brothers to be dropped just about any day now.

They are going to have to find something that is indisputable as to whether Zach Adams was indeed in contact with her. Hopefully something they find at the actual grave site will do exactly that. Zach Adams hair at the grave site, carpet fibers from his home on her clothing, his fingerprints on something at the scene, etc. , would go a long ways in convincing a jury. The same goes with Autry.

A Cause of Death may be hard to establish if she was manually strangled or suffocated, especially after this length of time.

I take it that TBI isn't saying what other evidence was found? Are we likely to find out before it goes to trial?

I highly doubt it. One thing is for sure, the TBI is covering their bases to make sure nothing jeopardizes their case and major props to them for keeping it quiet. I think they've done a phenomenal job for Holly since the day she went missing.

I still something very significant was found during the searches on ZA's property. There had to be something substantial enough to convince Holly's mother THEN that Holly was deceased. As a mother, I would have to be provided indisputable evidence to give up hope that my child would ever come home alive. Just because we don't know all the evidence LE has, doesn't mean they don't have what they need to put these monsters away forever.

When I hear the screen door shut, then I always know you're home-
When your car pulls in the drive then I know I'm not alone....
When your laughter fills the house, you are home.

When your footsteps hit the hall, then I always know you're home-
When your voice calls out my name then I know I'm not alone....
When your shoes sit in the floor, you are home.

When I think of you in heaven, then I always know you're home-
When I feel your comfort near me then I know I'm not alone...
When I know just where you are, you are home.

Rest In Peace, Sweet Holly. You are home.

RIP Holly, and Condolences to the Bobo Family.

This was a long time coming, but thank goodness they found her. I'm not thrilled with Ginseng hunters - they trespass, tear up wildflower patches and take so much ginseng they don't leave enough for future growth. But this time, they really were on a mission from God.

And it's kind of poetic justice that the idiots who put the body there had no clue they were placing her near a valuable ginseng patch. Just as they didn't value Holly's life, they couldn't see a treasure in front of their nose. And that will be their downfall, and that is why they are doomed. Evil often works out that way.

Having remains means having more evidence, and who knows? The perps might have dumped their bloody clothes in the same place - we can hope!

I think the reason the authorities were saying "three days" about the ID was that they didn't really know how long it would take, and they didn't want to get everyone's hopes up. The local police were in charge until late in the day yesterday, but once the TBI got on scene they obviously didn't waste any time.

And as I wrote yesterday, I'm sure they are combing the woods now.

I didn't expect a presser last night, so I took an allergy pill and went to bed. Thanks to everyone on WS who documented the press conference! :blowkiss:

Recently elected District Attorney Matt Stowe said his office was preparing to seek a possible death penalty in the case. A decision is expected in coming weeks, after he consults with the Bobo family, he said.

"The evidence is voluminous," Stowe said.
"We are going to make sure that everyone who played a part in the heinous crime that has attacked the peace and dignity of the state of Tennessee faces a consequence for that."

Just turned on the computer, and Holly was on the 1st page of the MSN Home Page:

The remains of Holly Bobo were found Sunday in Decatur County, not far from her home in the town of Parsons, about 110 miles east of Memphis, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director Mark Gwyn told a news conference.

I absolutely agree that something significant was found during the searches. They found something that not only convinced her mother that she was deceased but also charge the suspects.

Rest easy now beautiful girl.....may justice for your family and the ones that loved you be swift.

Oh my gosh....we have all wanted her to be found for so long and I think for awhile now we knew she wouldn't be coming home alive, but it breaks my heart. This is the case that got me really involved websleuths, and I have never stopped checking in on her. I too believe, to be found right before the trials start, it is divine intervention. Prayers for her family, friends, LE, TBI, those who found her, all of you who have also followed the case so diligently and lastly prayers for justice for this sweet girl taken too soon.

Are we sure they have the right people in jail for this?

:twocents: YES !

The first perp indicted and charged for Holly's murder, Zach Adams, sent a message to his brother Dylan Adams, who was already in another jail for gun charges, that if he did not shut his mouth, "he would be in a hole like her" -- paraphrasing here.

Next :

Shayne Austin is a BFF of Zach Adams and Jason Autry, the second perp indicted and charged for Holly's murder. Shayne Austin had an "immunity deal" on the table -- but NOW this "immunity deal" is "up in the air" as it seems to still be pending in the court.

JMO but it is obvious that SA "turned" on ZA and JA to save his own butt !

Next :

DA, ZA's brother, who is in jail on gun charges, stated to LE that he saw Holly with ZA and JA AFTER she was abducted. Obviously, he talked for his own benefit.

Next:

Another witness, a Ms. King, has testified in court that she saw a video of Holly tied up and crying. The "alleged perps" who have this video are two brothers, Jeff and Mark Pearcy, and have been charged as an accessory after the fact.

Oh -- but the video has not surfaced yet ... but IMO, "where there's smoke, there's fire."

JMO but no doubt there is more evidence ... but LE/TBI is not sharing what else they have but continue their investigation.

:moo:

RIP Beautiful Holly!!

Rest in peace Holly.

Followed this case since the start and I've always hoped to see closure to it. Poor girl and her family. Now justice needs to be done and I'm sure it will.

Y'all I'm honestly just in shock! I just can't believe it!!!! Now that it has sunk in for a moment, as sad as I am, I know having her body means SO much for the trial and even more for her family. Now these defendants are left with no bargaining power and hopefully like hungry rats trapped they will turn on each other. We will never get the complete gods honest truth from any of them because I'm not quite sure they are capable of telling it even when their life my depend on it. Prayers for a quick, but fair trial and a quick verdict, I hope that LE has everything they need to convict those responsible.

Prayers with the Bobo family today.
I am glad that they are going to receive closure. I am hoping justice is swift.

Are we sure they have the right people in jail for this?

I believe they do Katydid. I just don't see why it took 3 years to make an arrest. I was suprised to hear there was no obvious signs of trauma to the skull. I always thought ZA had ended her short life by those means imo
But my question is...??? How did 6 men keep this secret for so long? My first thought was... Bc this was not the first time. All IMO of course.

RIP Holly. I am so sorry this happened to you. Fly with the Angels beautiful lady!

So no signs of being shot in the head, per our state witness of the infamous cell video?

I thought the video was just her tied up and crying? MOO.
