How It All Began

I really believe that an immature mind did this crime.

No argument from me! I've been saying that for a while now.

I think he was familiar with the Ramsey's and lives very close by. Maybe this person had issues with his family situation and Christmas was not a good time for him, like it was for the Ramsey's.

"Norman." That's what I call this person.

Although, I'm not sure that Christmas was a good time for the Rs. Quite the opposite.

How could a "druggie" accomplish this type of crime? When you on drugs, you can't even tie your shoes, much less write a huge randsom note (a couple of times) or move through a house with an extensive floor plan without making noise or leaving DNA all over the place. And how wouuld you know about the bonus? makes about as much sense as some sort of organized small foreign faction committing this crime.

Hey Dave,

I really meant the perception of the Ramsey's having a happy family Christmas. You know, since they are rich and beautiful people per say. I am not sure what you mean by "Norman". What do you mean? Norman Bates?

Hey Dave,

I get you.

I am not sure what you mean by "Norman". What do you mean? Norman Bates?

Perhaps an explanation is in order. IF it was an intruder, I would agree that it was someone known to them, but since I don't know who it was, and we're not allowed to "name names" as it were, I chose the appellation "Norman." And you're correct: it does refer to Norman Bates, because that's the kind of person I picture as behind this.

Wait wait....now I get it.IF IDI it does make sense that it was someone they knew, actually it's the only IDI theory that does make sense IMO.But wait.....all those persons were tested and dna didn't match. Now I understand why IDI's don't push the friendly intruder theory no more.Even if JR himself and his own fbi expert J.Douglas agreed that it was someone they knew.

What's left.......the immature junkie(who happened to be sober that night),the sadistic pedo(who had an obsession with JR and not the victim),a serial killer more vicious than the zodiac and the famous SFF.Okay......

I don't think JBR was murdered by a drug addict because nothing about the crime or the crime scene jibes with the behavior of a drug addict. Especially not one who is a heroin addict.

Further, I don't think JBR was murdered by a homeless person.

While the articles about drug addicts and homeless people in Boulder at that time are interesting, I fail to see any kind of correlation with JBR's murder.

Kind of hard to get your head around, isn't it?

Hmmm! Thanks for the explanation.

A meth user comes to mind, because they have feelings of grandiosity when high, but as they come down, they can go into fits of rage. They may have been high during the planning stage. The articles show a subculture in Boulder and a town of those that have and those that don't. Probably not a homeless person, but someone on the fringes, and someone that wasn't a stranger to burglary.
