This one is getting me nervous!!

Me too, this is the one I saw weather experts saying it could become a Cat-5 when it hits the warm waters. :(

EXCLUSIVE: Despite Losing Homes, Houston Cops Put Duty First, Says Chief Acevedo

Harvey scams abound as crooks prey on disaster victims and altruistic Americans

Targeting both Harvey victims and those looking to donate to relief efforts, scam artists are using the storm – and people’s sense of charity – the swindle thousands of dollars from unwitting targets. In order to prevent any more victims, Fox News has compiled a list of some of the more popular scams and how to avoid them:

Flood Insurance Scams:

Charity Scams:

Phishing Scams:

Crowdfunding Scams:

Copycat Scams:

Yes, Euro seems to be the best. They had Harvey pegged right. Janice Dean with Fox says she trust Euro more than any of the others. She was warning everyone for days how bad Harvey was going to be when it came inland.

We have a daughter, son-in-law, and two little granddaughters who live right outside of Charleston in Mt. Pleasant. This hurricane worries me to death them and us because it could also hit Georgia where we live as well as SC..

JD said everyone needs to watch this one very closely every day and pay close attention to their local weather channels, and what the local officials are saying.

I know the area well....live about 20 minutes further inland. Savannah and Tybee Island can't handle the water....floods there as bad as Charleston. I tell my husband, enough hurricanes in route and one is bound to hit the East coast....hoping it curves and misses all of us.

She's gonna need her own thread!

Not if our wonderful jet stream keeps blowing strong from the west....pushing out into the Atlantic.

But yes......very worried here

Hello neighbors! Henry & Oceanblueeyes

I'm in Mt. Pleasant, right outside the city of Charleston. I wasn't here for Hugo (it was several years prior to my arrival) but the old timers will never forget. I hope Irma fizzles out- I've stayed through previous storms but after Texas, this one feels scarier. Reality has set in.
On another note, my daughter has been helping a woman/church to gather items to take to Texas. From the pictures I have seen they need a semi to transport it all.
Texas is going to need continued support. I just can not believe how devastating and far reaching this monster extended.
Prayers out to all in Texas!

Ocean, I'm so sorry for the anxiety you and many others here are now having, regarding the path of Irma.

Praying Irma just decides to turn and spin herself right on out in the ocean, away from any populated areas at all.

Sending many prayers for safety, and stay away vibes...

He is awesome. He is a straight shooter and makes sense. His questions and criticisms are on target.

Good to see you CocoChanel! You doing ok? Staying safe and dry?

Hiya WideOpen!! Glad to hear from a neighbor. My husband was here during Hugo. He said never again. So cat 3 or higher and we shall head to Atlanta to stay with daughter and son-in-law. You take care and be safe....
