Well y'all I just got home from work. I saw lines of trucks on I-10. I also saw lights and heard sirens! I'm worried for the people trying to get back to whatever area they are headed to.

Good to see you too Bootsctr! Now if only some of the others would just check in! I hope everyone is safe! Im about to call mom and check on her roof. Lol! My poor spoiled old goat! He wasn't neutered and got too ummm friendly so I moved him to a friends farm. I'm pretty sure he's happier there.

WTH they pulled the person to safety and then they jumped back into the water? Waste of resources.

Trust me, the Coast Guard and Navy helicopters are still quite active. I live in the area and I have been hearing them fly overhead for days.

The Federal Government has been involved from the beginning. Governor has been praising them for the swift response. I've also heard that the Marines have now been called in as well as other service branches. I've also read that combat helicopters have been involved in the rescue missions.

Its time for media to step

one of two historic broadcasts that finally got feds moving

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_V6SCiDhEA

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_FEsKspu8Y#t=145.030717]

All of the federal agencies have been coordinating with the TX Governor and other local and state officials since 10 days before Harvey even came in.

There are thousands of federal agencies/employees already on the ground who have been doing rescues and bringing in much needed items.

Didn't you watch the live PC held today where all of the different federal agencies listed what all they have been doing ....are doing now and will do many years in the future if necessary? Among the different federal agencies they have already rescued thousands of people.

The Texas Governor said today at the PC that no other time in history has the federal government been so involved this quickly.

"Upped DC from 8000 to 16000"...does that mean they are doubling the volume of water in controlled dam releases? If so, sounds like they have given up on trying to save neighborhoods & are focused entirely on saving the dams.

There's no link. Who is this? What is this? TIA

I thought I did link it. My fault. That was a twitter from WWF (Wraslin) star, the Iron Sheikh, goading Minister Osteen to open up his church. The Sheikh is a heel (bad guy in wraslin') but right on with his tweet.
