Just an update from my Mom in NJ. Her power was restored this afternoon and her neighborhood is already cleaned up for the most part. She's in Central NJ. Praying that others will have their power turned on soon too.

Still alive and kicking. Without getting into to much detail before I load the pics into my computer, If I could go back and do it all again, I would NOT have stayed here in Oak Beach. But I did, we had a pretty good party, and everything will be dry again one day.

So Truth is still unaccounted for. Maybe he just lost electricity and Internet but he's ok. If he was on Fire Island, they might have bigger issues to worry about right now then getting online. I'm really hoping so anyway. Let's hope we hear from Truth soon. Sending prayers his way.

BTW, I heard from Flukeyou. He stayed home in Oak Beach. He said there was like 7 ft of water in his house. He and his family are alive and have supplies to get by.

Damn. I heard about the big party that went down on Fire Island Sunday night. Kind of hoping you left after the party. Atleast you are ok. Property can be replaced. We got a new inlet I hear.

I just heard that CPH is ok, he wasn't around for a while because he had strapped on a prosthetic propeller and took off towards New Jersey where he has been helping people for the last few days. He's been putting out fires, pulling people from collapsed houses, resurrecting damaged cranes in Manhattan and still managed to help some runaways get off of the street. All of the witnesses questioned said that none of his claims were true, except for the runaways who are still unaccounted for.

Funny stuff. I saw him swing accross sunrise highway like tarzan and pick up a baby that was about to get hit by a Mack Truck the other day. He gets around that CPH.

You gotta laugh. My pride and joy (my boat) is gone. I can never replace her. I got all my rods/reels and electronics off before the storm. She didnt kill anyone on her way out to her watery grave so that is good. I was going to sleep on board and glad I did not as she ripped the dock apart (I had her secured to the dock a little too good, I triple roped her and had some chain securing her) and broke free. I would not have been able to stop it. Even the boats that were hauled were all destroyed so it didnt matter if I did that either. Hindsight is 20/20.
So the search for a new boat begins. I am more upset about the boat than the girl LOL.
I cant wait for my vacation in December. Its been an interestin Fall season for me.
