I think KC made up friends, boyfriends, coworkers, bosses, and various other people going way back. I think they were convenient to have around to cover for lies. She may have had an imaginary Zanny around for a long time, just like she had "Jeff" the boyfriend.

All of these "people" came in real handy when she started telling the kidnapping stories.

With such an active imagination, I think KC should have written a book! She'd be in way better off shape had she channelled her imaginary friends into fiction rather than murder!

Not only do I believe she plotted Caylee's murder for quite sometime but I also believe she was plotting CA & GA's as well.

Yep, maybe all 3........

This may have already been pointed out..on page 51 Cindy states that until she knew Zanny's real name..Zaneida Fernandez Rodriguez...Rodriguez...I think this is the first time I have seen Rodriguez...Isn't it Gonzalez. Is this a slip of some sort?
Not sure...but I caught an error as well...she stated that Caylee's eyes were blue. It may have been the fault of the transcriber.

Probably because she is just like KC in the sense everything is about me, me, me, I, I, I.............KC and CA are just alike...everything is about them.
...and yet I got the sense that she really didn't KNOW her daughter. She seemed clueless...and because she couldn't give an answer about Casey...she talked about herself. That was one scary interview.

That's my understanding. KC was having female problems and was a virgin.

Yeah, and Mom's a nurse!

I remember once, BTW, when I was younger. A g.f, came to me and said she was afraid she had cancer. Her breasts were swollen and aching, she'd missied a few periods, and she was nauseated

"Um, Tyra? You have a growth all right. But, it will go away, in a few months.":-)

And, I wasn't even a nurse, at that time.

Cindy Anthony: "I believe Casey (about zanny, jeff, etc) because otherwise she's been plotting this murder of my grandchild since her birth. "

No, Cindy, you have to believe Casey because if you didn't, you and George would have to own up to the truth, and you'd both realize you were guilty of recklessly endangering Caylee's life. You don't want to see that. You knew what Casey was, and you did nothing that matched the level of danger to which Caylee was exposed. You left your precious granddaughter in the hands of someone with no sense of remorse and no love for anyone other than herself. Own it!

You and George could've long ago moved forward to gain custody of Caylee. Had you done so, she'd more likely be alive today, but again, you failed to respond appropriately to the level of danger that Casey presented. I don't know how you can live with that, I couldn't.

You are quick to judge everyone for criticizing you, but that's not the problem. The problem is you've never taken the time nor had the insight to give an accounting of yourself, and choose a better way of being in the world.

If you had, you'd recognize that you owe Casey nothing, and would take care of yourself, Lee, and George, and leave Casey to the judgement of the jury.

I agree with you that CA had figured out what KC was (a sociopath)...But it's most likely that she still hasn't figured out what she is (a narcissistic sociopath). And GA...ah well, let's leave that one alone.

Not only that, momtective, I felt from the first time that I read Cindy's statement to George on that very first day "We've lost her - we've lost Caylee", I think that for a very long time, Cindy and George feared for Caylee - not necessarily for her life, but that Casey's irresponsibility would somehow lead to Caylee being hurt, lost, or Heaven forbid, kidnapped or some other horrible incident. I believe that the A family have all lived in fear of what Casey might do. Remember Cindy's statement to Casey that first day "What have you done"?

 I agree 100% with you. Mother of the Year, Casey wasn't......Cindy either in my book. I am blown away at how many times Cindy talks about what a wonderful, warm, loving mother she is & how Casey is just like her. Cindy is right about one thing, she and Casey are very much alike, neither can tell the truth.

OMG, if I had to sit in a room for hours & listen to Cindy babble & Cindy speak, they would have to put me in the nut house. I swear, those agents should get hazard duty pay!

CA didn't care enough about Caylee to know who was caring for her while KC was working. The Grunds kept Caylee, Holly kept Caylee and someone named Lauren kept Caylee all of these people have names and addresses and suprisingly phone numbers, they are real and can be verified. Then all of a sudden Zanny pops into the picture and no one in the family knows her real name address or phone number and to top it off never laid eyes on her but have seen and talked to all the other babysitters for Caylee. Can someone say RED FLAG? Somehow the A's want everyone to swallow this BS, hook line and sinker. I'm sorry, we are smarter than that. LE is definately smarter than that. Not to mention the missing children searches on her computer, what exactly was KC planning?

I think this statement is revealing because it shows that at least somewhere in her mind Cindy knew Caylee was unwanted by Casey. Because logically it doesn't follow that - even if Casey invented Zanny years ago (which I don't buy) that means Casey was plotting to kill Caylee since her birth. Zanny could have been invented by Casey for many reasons and then conveniently used by Casey as a scapegoat when she needed one. Why Cindy's mind jumps all the way back to Caylee's birth and connects the "birth" of Zanny to that is because she knows that Casey never wanted Caylee.

Am I the only one...or does anyone else ever wonder...if things had been a bit different, and had Casey and/or Cindy never been called out at the wedding and/or had to fess up to Casey obviously being pregnant rather than having 'virginal feminine problems' (that somehow weren't important enough to require medical attention even though the shape of her abdomen was changing...???) etc...how possible is it that, assuming Cindy wasn't around to be all up in her business, Casey might have killed Caylee at birth rather than waiting another two years and ten months later?

Like if no one had made her admit that she was pregnant and there was in fact a baby coming, would Casey have made yet another lie to cover hiding out just before she gave birth and perhaps killed the baby right away to get back to her busy single life? (you know, just thinking like Casey here - she could tell her friends something like "y'all haven't seen me much lately cause I've had mono, and it's really contagious, I almost died five times and I've been on super-quarantine, and I got it during a supersecret clandestine lover's tryst with this guy who fell madly in love with me, soooo...nah, you never met him, he moved to Canada - or Mexico or PR, take yer pick - a while back and was just here on vacay, coming down just to see me, soooo....oh, his name....ummm, it doesn't matter, he's dead now anyway and I almost died seven times in the last six weeks."

IMO.

Thank God for all of you. Even in context my head was swimming. I couldn't even fathom having to sit there in person and listen to this, I'd need MANY stiff drinks and a xanax myself! LOL!

When these came out I listened to every word and couldn't make head nor tails of how much she actually went into her AH, RM theory. I (and I can't believe I'm admitting this) understand the way she was linking them to being Zanny because at that point that's what she wanted to/had to believe.

I do believe Casey was going to kill CA and GA, I've thought that since the beginning. They are really lucky to be alive IMO.

(still not believing I understood Cindy's train of thought.)

imo, so is Amy. Check out this thread with article about profiling female serial killers.

lol, good idea.

To put a different spin on your great post:

But that would have been actual work, possibly including a paycheck and stuff... But more importantly, it would have taken a lot more skill, intelligence, and talent than she could ever hope to achieve. IMO, KC has most likely never had an original thought in her head. What may seem clever to us was most likely copied from somewhere else.

I've always thought she would have given birth and put Caylee in a trash can somewhere, due to her behavior as we know it now.

She did not want Caylee. That does not mean she did not know how to try to want her, but at the core, it never worked.

Cindy has to go back to the beginning of Caylee's life when she thought for sure Casey showed such love for her daughter. She had told Casey that things would be okay if she had the baby, and they were. (as Cindy said on her myspace)

Things were just peachy-keeny until..."Casey, what have you done?" I think her questioning how far back this really went was back to..."wait a minute, you mean maybe I made Casey have that baby she never wanted...no, some Zanny must have done it."
