Way...Off Topic....
I think the FBI could also get a job writing insurance policies (just Saying...) LOL
I believe that info did not come from LE but from Aunt Tammy. I don't think the police have ever stated what the dogs did or did not hit on. I am sure someone will correct me on this if I am wrong.

I was all set to provide a link to someone from FBI/LE discussing where the dogs hit, and to my surprise I haven't found one yet.
I've found articles that state the dogs were being used, and articles quoting MCM as saying the dogs ran around the lake and stopped at the edge of the water (http://articles.cnn.com/2012-07-17/us/us_iowa-missing-cousins_1_arizona-girl-girls-home-persons-case), but nothing so far from an official source stating where the dogs went while searching.
I'll keep looking . . .
Investigator arrived at the Auction Shop 20 minutes after learning that the manager had the girls on video footage. They spent Monday and half of Tuesday examining the footage. The manager mentioned that they copied the footage and took note of every vehicle that was seen on the footage.
The FBI brought two dogs to the area to search Monday night, and the dogs were used again on Tuesday, FBI spokeswoman Sandy Breault said.
The dogs used scent pad samples taken from the girls' shoes and picked up a scent trail, but Breault couldn't say what, if anything, it led investigators to.
Misty Cook-Morrissey, Lyric's mother, told CNN that after smelling the scent pads Monday, the dogs ran around the lake and stopped at the water's edge.
Authorities said Tuesday that they didn't know whether the girls had been at the lake.
"We have their bicycles and we have the purse and that doesn't tell me that they've been there, just that those items are there," Abben said.

:waitasec: Okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.....
Sorry if this has already been posted - two setts of human remains were found in a grave in Indianapolis, and LE does not know age/sex/race. Probably not connected to this case in any way.

I hope its not connected but...concerning nontheless.
O/T - your dog is so cute. Is he/she a Welsh Corgi by any chance??
Was the bike ride from the house to where the cctv sighted the girls only seconds away from the house?
TIA
