Video's are uploading to Youtube right now (pray for no fail in the upload...as this is the first time I've ever uploaded anything).

I have no doubt whatsoever that this is the area the girls were found...unless of course the 2 sheets in the photos with LE standing by weren't the girls bodies.

I believe they were though...and wreaths/flowers placed in almost the EXACT spot the sheets were laying tells me it's the right spot.

TY soooo much for this map. What is very interesting, IMO, is the close proximity to private property. Virtually right across the river! :moo:

please repost for the rest of us ?

OK Everyone here are the videos!!! They took longer to upload than I thought they would so they weren't all uploaded until this morning.

Granted, for some reason they are kind of choppy as far as understanding what is what...but I will answer any questions anyone has about them. I am no professional videographer but hopefully some find it helpful in understanding the layout/terrain of the park and you can see the location of where the girls were found.

Please watch them in this order for it all to make sense.

Video #1:
The drive from the main corner driving all the way down the road, past the park, down to the private gate showing the tree farm.

#1 - YouTube

Video #2:
Driving back TO the park entrance from the private drive gate.

# 2 - YouTube

Video #3: Entering the park and you can see the little "fork" in the road. If you were to go LEFT (as I show in the video) and not straight ahead, THAT road is where it will take you to where the older gentleman in the other video takes you. THAT road DOES take you over to where the private property would bump up against the park's edge. This was the original route Cinder took when she came into the park.

# 3 - YouTube

Video #4:
This video is continuing on the path into the park and to the turnabout (also showing the angels/little memorial which is as you come upon the turnabout). You hear me say I think the walk was MAYBE 50 yards. I'm referring to the walk I'd taken that far...not the total distance from the entrance to the end of the turnabout.

# 4 - YouTube

Video #5:
This is the actual walk from the turnabout to the site of where the girls were found. This walk is 1/10th of a mile...probably 150-175ish yards from the edge of the turnabout. This walk coordinates with the aerial photo of LE vehicles at the turnabout (attached).

#5 - YouTube

Video #6: Another clip of the actual site...showing the debris (grass/weeds) that were taken down from the combing of LE, and also shows the deer cam that is set up to monitor the area. (It's pretty funny, because when I realize the deer cam is there and mention it on the video, you hear my husband say "greeeaattt" LOL) That's when I kind of started wondering if we were going to end up receiving a call about our intent at the site :floorlaugh:

#6 - YouTube

Feel free to ask me any questions, I'd be glad to explain. I will tell you though, I'm horrible with directions when it comes to north, south, east, west.

I have goosebumps! To actually see, up close, the area where the girls were found is chilling. Yet I also find it touching that others have made the trek in there and left angels, a wreath and even planted some flowers at one of the body location sites.

One scene that made me catch my breath was when you showed the two white angels on the trees.

I've always suspected the killer is local, and your videos completely support that IMO.

My sense of outrage is even greater now that it was before, which I didn't think possible.

Words just can't express my gratitude to you for working so hard to post these videos to share with us.

When I saw the 2 angels on the trees, I had to stop and compose myself. I instantly got tears in my eyes. It was very surreal, being there, after seeing all the still shots and aerial pics.

I (like Cinder) was just drained, emotionally, when I left. When Cinder and I were walking together we both acknowledged how strange it felt...that we were walking the same path that these girls took that fateful day, and to stand at the very place their lives were taken from them. Very emotional to say the least. :(

threecrazykids, thanks so much for the very good series of videos, you did a great job AND have a lovely voice too!
Kudos also to your helpful sleuthing companion, glad he was there with you because that was a very eery and sad looking place imo.
Thought it was hilarious though when you and cindersoot ended up running into each other!

I think destroying a wildlife habitat for no reason other than building a memorial is immoral. JMO.

I suspect Lizzie would much rather have the gooses and bunnies be happy that a bunch of boring old gazebos. That island is not designed for the enjoyment of children. :moo:

ETA: Frankly, it seems like someone is building a shrine trying to glorify the death of those little girls. There is no concern for who killed them nor who else might be in danger. I find the whole attitude absolutely sickening.

Considering the imagination that children have, I have to wonder if both girls had ever asked their parents to take them to the island. When I was child we used to vacation in Ontario, the lake we stayed on was a very large lake and had many islands. My Dad would take me fishing and I would always ask him to take me near the islands so I could see them up close. We never got off the boat and onto the island because there was to much brush so I thought of it as a mysterious place. I still wonder about the girls asking directions that day and LE looking for people on paddle boats.

Thank you so much!!! Pretty much as I'd pictured it from the pics and maps posted previously. So glad you included a shot of the tree we had used to match up the pics of the park with the pics from the crimescene. :moo:

One odd thought and it's probably stupid, but Drew has a tree cutting business. Is there any chance that someone could have worked for Drew and for the Tree Farm there next to Seven Bridges Park? Or even that Drew would know the people working there?

One of my favorite things to do is to walk the trails and photograph nature. I can completely understand the loss that people are experiencing. What I know is that there are amazing things all around us, hidden in the branches above. Unless we stop and listen, we miss it completely. The variety of birds in a wetland area throughout the year is staggering. I hope I'm not blowing margins ... but I wanted to share what I've seen in a wetland area ... to give an idea about what may have been lost ...

I read the opinion and I feel he said it right. When I was there last Sunday, I noticed geese kinda swimming to and fro like they were lost. A lot of geese will come back to the same spot every year to raise their young. Why they didn't just put a nice granite bench there in their memory is beyond me. All that money could have gone to a good investigator team. The community should of been able to have a say and perhaps a vote. I didn't think this way at first until I saw the destruction myself, yes it will look nice when it is done, but it really is sad to remove all the wildlife that called the island home for so long. I hate bulldozers and their destruction. The Collins are getting a nasty reputation, a reputation for making a profit off their daughters death. Some gift shops in the area are selling merchandise from the murder. I find that sick and disturbing. Maiden lane in my opinion is where the trees should of been thinned out or even removed so it wasn't such a secluded place. As I said before it is littered with trash and here it sits, a place the girls were maybe lead to.
