Maybe that's a hint that they know who did this and are close to an arrest...hope so.

It could been that the individual(s) responsible are already behind bars on other charges.

Well, no, if he had both bodies on the back, and pushed one off without stopping, then pushed the other one, they'd probably be about that far apart.

I still can't see this no matter how hard I try.

I'm picturing a farmer on a quad bike with a couple of carcasses. Those things are HEAVY, no matter how small they are, and take a bit of shifting. He is going to stop the bike before he takes a carcass off it.

Quad bikes take two hands to steer so it would be virtually impossible to heave a dead weight off while travelling at any speed, by hand. I suppose you could kick it off but then you may steer into a tree or something and you'd have to be a yoga expert to get your leg back far enough, all while driving along.

Add the thick undergrowth and woods into the equation and I would say it would be virtually impossible for the bodies to have been pushed off a quad bike that way.

The only thing that really makes any sense (to me at least) is the girls walking in there under their own steam.

The thing I don't get, is that IMO this case is slowing down and getting cold. So why not release details?

Are they frequently at Meyers Lake or 7 Bridges? Maybe a local could answer.

No, there would be no park ranger at either place. The DNR would maintain seven bridges, but it not being a place that has camping and people who picnic, it might not be managed much. DNR (dept. of natural resources) might monitor it on occasion, esp. around hunting season. But with the cut backs in our economy, the monitoring is slim. In my honest opinion, seven bridges is the ideal spot to dump/murder someone, especially on hunting off seasons because of it's seclusion.

Sorry to reply to my own post but I didn't really answer the original question. Of the parks I've visited in my 30+ years, the only park I've seen rangers at is George Wyth park.

Which just so happens to be the park that Misty and Tammy had been taking Lyric to swim frequently prior to their abduction (per their interviews).

I think your last line might give us some idea as to narrowing down the time frame of when he may have put them there. In that area when does hunting season start? I would think he would have put them there before the season started so there was less chance of being seen. Still in my opinion I think he killed them somewhere else and that they were not alive for very long after they were taken.

Just for a second after reading this post - I wondered if the perp/s had a parent covering up for them by " disposing of the bodies" ?

Perhaps a Father who knows the area well from" old huntin' and fishin' days" ?

 :notgood: Maybe the ranger there might to have gotten to know them because they were going there so much and Lyric was learning to swim. :ohoh: Three park links...

What organization does the initials EPI stand for? Was reading the girls face book pages, the first one that was created before they were found I think, and the person that created it spoke of a man who tried to get her boys to get in his car. He was a former worker for this organization. My computer freezes up when I try to read articles from the main newspaper there.

My theory - LE know who did this and have done from the beginning.

That person is now in custody (for other crimes) so LE are taking their time building their case, which will also involve criminal charges against more than one other person, which is why it's all taking so long and being conducted so quietly.

:cow:

Now SS, you know I :loveyou: , but we cannot discuss that theory :bigfight: or we will be :bee: sent to the naughty chair :HHJP: :tos: :blowkiss:

Thank you for that info.

Thanks for the clarification. I agree that there is nothing remotely Disney-like about what happened to these girls.

And I truly understand your viewpoint. If the girls were abducted by a stranger, then I imagine they were quickly subdued in some manner before they were whisked away.

It's my perspective that we would have to severely under-estimate these children to assume that they did not realize how serious the siuation was prior to their murder.

Can you provide a hypothetical situation where children would get into a non-familial vehicle and where they remain unconcerned during a 20 mile ride into the countryside?

From a December article:

The girls’ aunt, Tammy Brousseau, 48, of Waterloo, said Friday that authorities told family members that the girls died shortly after they disappeared in mid-July.

http://www.desmoinesregister.com/ar...054/Evansdale-girls-families-speculate-killer

I believe the girls were dead within a couple of hours of their disappearance. JMO. I don't believe they were held somewhere (alive or dead) before being taken to 7 Bridges.

IMO the perp planned his abduction of the girls very carefully - he knew who he was going to kidnap, where/how he was going to do it, and where he was going to take the girls. I don't think he took the girls to 7 Bridges after dark. I think by the time it got dark on July 13th, the girls were dead and the perp was back in Evansdale, possibly participating in a search for the "missing" girls.

I don't see any part of this horrible crime being random or spontaneous.

All JMO.

We do not know that they went directly to the 7 bridges park.

Let's assume that they went somewhere else first with a non-familial person - maybe they went for an ice cream. Under what circumstances are they going to be unconcerned and free to run when they arrive at the remote spot where their remains were found?

BBM

Definitely.

Lyric and Lizzie are approached by someone they did not consider a dangerous stranger. This person tells them he's cleared it with Grandma if they want to go with him. Maybe he tells them they're going somewhere fun to swim on a warm summer's day. The girls go willingly, glad for something exciting to do. They aren't suspicious or concerned - maybe one or both of them had gone places with this person before. They are just two little girls on an unexpected adventure.

This is my hypothetical situation were Lyric and Lizzie would willingly get into a vehicle and remain unconcerned throughout what I consider a short drive to 7 Bridges.

ETA: Please note that I am not saying the girls remained unconcerned up until their deaths. I don't believe they frolicked and played and chased butterflies once they got to 7 Bridges. I believe that shortly upon arriving there, perhaps as they were being marched through the grass/weeds/brush, the girls began to realize they were in danger. But at that point, it was too late. JMO.

What details do you think are available that have not been released? How would the release of those details advance the investigation without compromising the integrity of the investigation?

If Elizabeth was going on a fun adventure in a stranger's vehicle, why was her purse found near the water's edge?
