I would bet my bottom dollar that the ONLY person KWWL heard from was the one mentioned in the article. I'm surprised she was able to keep her mouth shut long enough for Lyric's burial so she could tell everyone AGAIN about Elizabeth's live-streamed memorial.

Why would she call up the media to tell them about Lyric's funeral?

If you watch all the videos from july 13th until the last one ( can't remember off the top of my head when that was) That house on Brovan was full of people. Not just GMa

Just my observation and opinion.

So she could also tell them that Elizabeth's funeral will be live-streamed and open to the public.

Yeah, I think the bikes were staged and everything about the lake is a red herring. And that 12:15 time is critical for all the rest.

Is it possible that while the grandmother was out looking, the girls came home and found her not there, and were then rushing to try to catch up with her? Or that something happened to them there? Maybe a friend/neighbor saying, "Oh, she's at xxxx, just throw your bikes in the back and I'll take you to her?"
I guess I'm not really clear even now on what the family's movements at the house were while they were looking for the girls.

That is exactly how I see this abduction happening. :goodpost:

The contrast is very odd...but is the reason we are viewing it as odd due to the fact that the two girls were murdered by the same person? Imagine that they are two separate unrelated cases. There have been cases in the past where the family has held an elaborate public memorial. Samantha Runnion's memorial was open to the public, held at the famous Crystal Cathedral, and shown on CNN. National TV! They are building a memorial park for Jessica Ridgeway, whose memorial service was also open to the public. On the other hand, there have been many murdered children who have had private services. I believe that all of the memorials/funerals for the Newtown victims were private, for example.

This will be Elizabeth's second elaborate public event, the first being the "Celebration of Life". It is possible that there could be a third elaborate public event if they choose to take the event after the funeral service to the graveside for the burial.

And a fourth public event when they lay the first paver on the mausoleum.

And a fifth when they complete Gazebo 1.

And so on...

You can't blame them I suppose, it must be the most exciting thing to happen in Evansdale for a while.

Yeah, there are people all over the place, and nobody seems real sure where everybody was at any given time.

It's hard for me not to think that at least one member of the family really enjoys being in the public eye. JMO

Like a duck to water, I'd say.

Yeah, there are people all over the place, and nobody seems real sure where everybody was at any given time.

I second that! On the other hand, sometimes I feel like maybe there were several people in desperate need of money and hatched a somewhat elaborate kidnapping hoax that went horribly wrong. The family receives a ransom note and the FBI announces that they believe the girls are still alive, but mention nothing about a ransom. The people involved in the kidnapping hoax are being watched so closely by LE that they can't get back to the girls at 7-Bridges to free them and they died there at 7-Bridges as hostages.

A bit convoluted, but not impossible.

OMG...THANK YOU! How the hell can there be so many conflicting stories of who was where, and when?

I hope LE has it all straight and has been told the same story more than once, because MSM reports have them all over the place.

I have yet to have a timeline that is the same story twice with all the players, where they were, when they arrived, left, were at a specific venue, work, home, etc.

Every time I read a report, or watched an interview I was left thinking "wait...you just said yesterday you left at..." So confusing. :banghead:

:tyou:

Except I don't think it went wrong, I think it went almost exactly to plan.

*sigh*

True, but it is mentioned on Cedar Valley Mugshots FB Page.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cedar-Valley-Mugshots/279285502183184

There is also an interview with Drew on the page. About sex offenders again.

And the reporter states that Drew says"he doesn't want to dwell on the tragedy".

And after watching that video it ALMOST makes me turn the corner into believing that that this family KNOWS this has some sort of sexual connection to it.

He is SO adamant about this, it makes me wonder why he feels sexual predators need to have any more focus than the "nice guy next door".
