I was kinda afraid you guys would think it was weird.

Having an earlier time line could bring up the possibility of different delivery people being seen or traveling through the area or witnessing something they didn't think important because of the time frame.

I have never thought that Wylma or either of the parents have been involved in the abduction and murder of the girls. I've only questioned their time line. I have clocks in almost every room, but some people don't have any clocks except by their bed and only use their cell phone or go by tv shows starting or ending to check the time.

If the girls were seen near the lake, could they have entered or left the park through Maiden Lane to make their loop to go back home?

Jumping off yours SS, and snipped respectfully

GRACE: Wylma, when you saw them right [ride*] away that day what was your last image of them?

COOK: Just the normal image, don`t be gone very long and we realized they left 11:30. By 12:30, we were not happy because they weren`t back.

"what was your last image of them?" doesn't seem to be a trick question.

* (I do not know why this bugs me so but I am compelled to fix it every time that darned transcript is quoted)

not a trick question but a distasteful one. I can hear the insincere syrup dripping from it (sorry, I don't like when reporters ask questions aimed at getting an emotional breakdown from a shellshocked family member).

Aqain, MOO is that since earlier in the conversation they were discussing the girls riding off around 11:30 for their bike ride, Wylma is still in that moment and is describing what a normal thing it was, how un unusual the whole morning was.

NG asks her about when she saw the girls ride away. Wylma response with an answer that seems to suggest she did not "watch or see" the girls ride away after giving them permission. So if she saw them riding their bikes at 12:15 that was not in relation to the 11:30 topic Cook and NG had just been discussing.

I think in Wylma's mind she was stuck on the 11:30 discussion.

going to drop it and agree to disagree :)

No way. Hopefully one day you'll be able to bury it, when this is solved.

I DO believe this will be solved...we just have to wait. Until then the girls need everyone remembering them, or perhaps more importantly, remembering what happened to them.

This Angels Park thing is taking the focus off the ugliness of the crime IMO.

I have seen no one sleuthing family members. I have seen and participated in conversation about their direct statements in MSM.

If that is not allowed anymore then somebody needs to clue me in.

I also have not seen anyone bash anyone today so if I am missing something somebody should really give me a heads up. We all know that several members have theories that are not discussable. And I have not seen them discussing them so I am really confused now.

I'm getting so frustated with no info on the case.

Me, too, cinder - but since LE hasn't officially called these deaths "homicides," I don't suppose they will easily give up any details unless it is reasonably expected to lead to new information, IMO.

Thank God the remains of the girls have been found; some areas are preparing for flooding AGAIN.

Eastern Iowa communities brace for flooding
WATERLOO, Iowa --- Even before Wednesday's record rain, drought conditions in Iowa were on the run. Recent downpours quickly turned the conversation to flooding.
As of 10 a.m. Thursday, Waterloo has collected 5.38 inches of rain in April. The total includes 1.44 inches that fell April 9, a record for the date, and 1.62 inches Wednesday, a record for April 17. "Even with 12 1/2 days to go, Waterloo has already had its seventh all-time wettest April on record," said Jim Lee, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Des Moines.

Thank you. I will bury it when this is solved, that is an excellent idea.

Yeah heh. Me too.

I see exactly what you're saying re Wylma's meaning and can see how you view it the way you do. I don't happen to agree but that's fine. It's the mark of educated minds :)

BTW we do not get Nancy Grace, JVM, or any other of the one hundred shills and hacks you have screeching on your tvs every night so I am not affected by the carp they spout. I take everything with a grain of salt and don't believe a thing just because it makes good headlines.

The US is hardly alone in having dodgy fame hungry hacks sensationalising everything for profit, but fortunately here in Australia, we are spared that particular phenomenon...for the time being at least. Our news services are mostly pretty dry and until recently, still read in ponderous tones by old white guys with British accents :D

Was it possible for Wilma to see the girls in the house at 11:30, that's when they poured themselves a drink right? They asked to go for a ride she says yes. Just wondering if it was possible that she happened to be looking out the window and thought she saw the girls on their bikes at 12:15? I know LE said that there were no other kids riding bikes near the auction house that day, but was it a possibility that other kids were riding bikes near Elizabeth's house. I wonder how many children around the girls age live in that area?

Kind of o/t -

Daniel Morcombe was murdered and left in a flood prone valley.

He laid there through many floods, for years.

It is considered a miracle he was found at all, let alone mostly intact, and maybe it was.

The first thing I do every morning is, and this is in order lol. I come down stairs feed my kitties, make coffee ( cause that is very important), then I log on my pc and go straight to KWWL for any updates.

I agree.
This was the point of my post to try and pinpoint a time that the girls might have seen someone/something through the window while they were fixing their drink that they couldn't even take time to drink in order to get on their bikes and take off.
If they did leave the house at 11:30 and the camera spotted them at 12:11 (8 minutes slow=12:19), then they rode around 49 minutes without being seen on the video or coming back to get a sip of their drink? The video showed them riding away from the lake. Could they have been coming home?

I hadn't considered that. So maybe the children were looking out the window when they were getting drinks and ran out, and away to Meyers Lake because of someone that they saw? If that's the case, then the children had prior contact with that person ... and that person was going to give them something. Children that age, in my opinion, don't rush anywhere unless they are going to get some sort of present - like a surprise ... then they would be excited at seeing something out the window, and rush out to follow it.

Was the Friday babysitting routine (Lyric at Heather and Drew's place with Grandmother)? If so, for how long? Since the beginning of July, half of June? Who could the children have encountered the Friday before, or two weeks before, that offered something that they couldn't resist ... maybe in the parking lot near the old post office?

Since they were riding West on Brovan (away from the lake), wouldn't that mean that anyone that they may have seen through the window drove West on Brovan and probably passed Lederman's camera at the time that the children poured juice?

That would be an interesting part of the timeline ... who was driving West on Brovan at the time that the children were pouring juice.

Thanks ... Interesting thought.

I wonder if police were able to view video footage from July 6, 2012.

When i was at seven bridges this last time I scooped some dirt from the site a body was found and brought it home and put it in a jar and made my own memorial. I added a flower from the site and a shell I found there. I also added a rock from the area at Meyers by the gate. It is my little memorial to this case. The rock, shell and flower at the top of the jar.

BBM. Thank you for that perspective.

Here, we would say: "gopher, trout and hawk."

you know I just was thinking on the time frame mentioned- it was around the lunch hour. Made me wonder if the girls had already had lunch....but really made me wonder- are there any places to eat right around in there??
Like someone on their lunch hour- who frequented the immediate area on regular basis. hmm

Okay I'm going to take a risk and ask again. In the beginning of this case was there any mention of a white truck with a topper?
