Perhaps, reporter's notes re his interview of Misty and W Cook were turned over in this case because 2 missing children (but I'm not sure):

Journalists typically fight to keep unpublished video or notes private for a variety of ethics reasons, including being seen as an extension of law enforcement rather than independent news gatherers. However, the ongoing search for missing children provides a rare caveat to such professional governance.

“This differs from the county attorney asking the investigative reporter for his notes,” said Michael Bugeja, director of the Greenlee School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Iowa State University. “This is a nationwide search and children are involved. Many times, a reporter would be willing to go to jail to protect their notes. This isn’t one of those times.”

I believe it was Lyric and cousin.

Surely they didn't ride bikes all that way (since we've been told they stayed close to home) but I was under the impression that they were on bikes

Maybe I'm the only one who didn't know about this site I'm going to link up but I'll pass it along anyway. I found it accidentally last night while Googling something unrelated to this forum. Just for the heck of it I typed in the Greenbrier Rd address. Although it's not 100% accurate it does show some past and current names of people that's lived there. Just another sleuthing tool for those that might not know about it.

Yes. I wish we could talk about this because I want everyone's opinion. I saved all the photos but I think I'll be breaking the rules to post them. Maybe all garages in Evansdale look the same!! I don't know!!

I don't think so. I looked on Google Earth and it looks more like a small pier or something similiar. I could be wrong but that's what it looked like to me.
