I have to say that I have never seen a show of community as I have in Brooklyn, Iowa. For a small town, they have shown the world that they care and are passionate about their own. Truly inspiring! If LE needs the community to help to solve the case, LE is in good hands.

I can't remember where that was, but SharonNeedles might have seen some road work unless it was already done.
I did not encounter any road construction in my trip to Brooklyn.

What do you mean everyone pays for garbage pick ups (I am not talking about recyclables)? In Brooklyn? How do you know this?
If they have garbage trucks that make weekly rounds then they probably pay for the service. Nothing major. Just conversation.

Everyone pays for water and garbage pick ups though. But the big items like couches have to be taken to the dump and you pay by the pound. Idk.
Where I live (rural area) you can pay for private pick up or not. It's optional.

Was MT working at the camp she was interning at earlier that day? If so, how did she get to her mother's (if her brother drove her to her BF's house) or BF's house if she went straight there? Do we know who drove her? Do we know how she normally got back and forth? No suspicions, I just don't remember anything concrete about that.
At one point, her mother said that MT usually took the car to work, but she sometimes used DJ's truck instead. I never heard what had happened that day, but I'm guessing that either JT needed the car that days so he took her to and from work, or he needed it later so she went to the house after work and he brought her back to DJ's. MOO

What time has been reported that the Jack house occupants returned on Thursday 7/19? Did any of them return to Brooklyn Jack house because Mollie was missing or did any of them at their planned time then later in the day found out that Mollie may be missing?
Her boyfriend returned to the home as soon as he heard Molly was missing. Late afternoon, I believe.

Just speculating: If it is a local who did it, he wouldn't hide her on someone else's property if he wanted her to stay hidden. If he hid her on his own property, he could easily say he searched his own land and didn't find anything (he wouldn't have to worry until/unless LE came looking). So the other option would be out of town, or in a large, publicly accessible area, park, etc. MOO.

scarlettbones, that is what I was thinking originally and that is how WC got framed (I was thinking she was buried on his property). Maybe is IS a local and doesn't want to be caught and knew all about WC and his stalking charge and all and they possibly tried to frame him somehow and also buried Mollie's body on his property somehow. Maybe later that night. Not sure how he would have done that though without heavy duty equipment though (buried deep enough to keep LE from finding her body). UNLESS she has been placed somewhere with easy access for the POI (not buried deep in the ground) that LE has not found yet like a body of water, etc.. It would still be hard UNLESS this person has a four wheeler or something that they can take out on the property and hide the body that way. Maybe park their vehicle on the side of the road (but then again I would think someone would have seen a suspicious vehicle on the side of the road with a trailer attached--which you would need to house the four wheeler) and then take the four wheeler along with Mollie to dump her somewhere. Just ALL my thoughts and grasping at straws here. If no one knew she was missing at that time he could have been taking care of all this on the night of the 18th (if it was planned). Could have even hid his vehicle and trailer behind some brush while he took her body (while on something like a four wheeler) to an unknown secluded location. I think he could have done this if he was strong enough. But then again I would think someone would have heard the four wheeler (but maybe not if it was late at night and everyone was asleep). That could have been what also happened with Liberty and Abigail in the Delphi murders. Someone had planned it out and was going to bury them on the guy's property that night (or hide their body better that night) HOWEVER the search for them started sooner and they didn't have enough time to bury them. But in Mollie's case no one knew she was missing until the next day, so they DID have time to bury her. Just all speculation though.

There was some talk -speculation- of the possibility of a deer/car incident that was staged to hide damage to a vehicle in the last thread. I mentioned that the call logs showed a deer/car accident. I attached the log (LE public record). It happened on the 19th on Historic HWY 6 in Brooklyn at 9:17 PM. Keep in mind there were tornadoes nearby earlier that day, so the road conditions could have been bad.

Edited to correct time.
Is there a way to find out if there was a dead dear?

Yes I am aware but they have not come together as a town to support Mollie and her family in Brooklyn!

Who from Mollie and DJ's familys were in attendance at the prayer vigil?

A lot of the local businesses are doing their best to help Mollie and her family. They are printing posters, putting signs on trucks for example. The local Denny’s gave free food with donations on Monday.

FWIW there's also a report of criminal mischief at 8am on the same day on Old 6 in Brooklyn.
I noticed that. Night before too at the True Value.

Just like propane deliveries. And most do pay. Atleast I would think so. Idk. But I guess some would elect not to pay and simply haul the trash themselves. So I can see that as well.

Im just use to rolling my 3 garbage bins to the curb on a weekly basis. So you have no arguments from me.

Mollie’s cousin attended this vigil to represent the family. It was advertised locally on TV and radio as primarily for Mollie and Jake, but also for other missing Iowans. I remember mention of this location because of needed space for the crowd. You are right that there hasn’t been a local vigil in Brooklyn, but the impression here is that the Waterloo event was for Mollie.

Straight there, meaning her mom's? If so we dont know that she went there. Her bother dropped her off at 5:30, after work. Not sure if that answers your question

Oh, the log you posted is from the 16th. There is another criminal mischief log right around then that caught my eye. I’ll go find it and post it.

Maybe, maybe not. I don't know the law, but I imagine it's not illegal to take roadkill with you if you want to strap it to the hood or if you have a pick-up truck. Otherwise, it's up to the city or the county to dispose of something like that.
