If I see one more "It may have been posted" haha

Doesn't anyone ready what other people post? Seems like a waste of time if not.
30 threads with up to 70 posts in them makes that pretty impossible. I think everything that could have happened that can be discussed without violating TOS has been mentioned and investigated by now. It's probably going to turn out to be something involving things that are not allowed to be discussed. Moo.

Abree. And in addition, the threads tend to move so fast I can’t keep up on each thread! Consequently, I miss a lot of discussion.
I hear ya. I have been here Mach 90 and still have to skip pages. Quiet for the most part but here......

Like the three things I pointed out in my post; you might need a magnifying glass to spot them!!
Rebel, I think the question "Like?" refers to the scenarios that you feel the three conditions rule out, not the conditions themselves. I was curious about that myself, i.e., wondering what scenarios you put on the "ruled out" list, bec/ I have my own such list and would love to compare. Thx.

I've often followed a complex thread that has seemingly covered every.single.possibility....and then bam! Someone comes up with an absolutely brilliant speculation or observation yet explored. Ya never know.

Agree. And in addition, the threads tend to move so fast I can’t keep up on each thread! Consequently, I miss a lot of discussion.

I have a photographic memory; except when I need to ask what was said in a previous thread. ;)

This was called in yesterday morning at 8:19, so I am guessing that the caller had just seen that, and not just remembered that she had seen it a month ago. I highly doubt that someone would be brazen enough to parade a healthy Mollie around in a moving truck 50 miles from where she disappeared, with most of the state of Iowa probably aware of what she looks like. And FWIW, 400K could make some people see the Energizer Bunny hopping down the highway on a pogo stick, if someone was willing to pay for that info. JMO
Best post of the day so far......LOL !

I think the point she was trying to make was that just because she had a background in psychology, and a strong support system doesn't make her more resilient than anyone else. She wasn't implying one scenario was better than the other.
My original post that she quoted was my response to someone who posted that maybe death would be preferable to still being alive at this point. I'm going with no on that.

I'm not complaining about it. In fact, if the reason I/we believe those events occurred are accurate and are effective then I'm glad because it might suggest this case will be resolved within a relatively short time.

Well shoot I missed it then (I was asleep last night when all this was discussed) but if that's the case I DO hope it is solved VERY SOON ChuckMaureen.

We know from the last press release that the police map is points of interest in relation to Mollie's abduction, not pings.

"Investigators have declined to give any information regarding the significance of these locations but asked those who were in the highlighted areas on the evening of July 18 to contact law enforcement with any information regarding who and what they might have seen."

It's ambiguous at best. Asking for anyone who was at the dots could still be ruling out a ping from a random person who happened to be there from 7-10. So, how do you suppose they got the dots? I'm beginning to think they threw darts at a map. ;) Thank you.

Some interesting comments on Mollie’s FB page. I think Mollie’s FB is acceptable to discuss.

I have done that with a list of 17 suspects before.

I took a few days off here and was following the SW thread so I am behind. To do a quick catch up last night I played Nancy Grace's podcast of 8/16 on MT case. I am going to listen to it again to make sure I got it right because I was starting to fall to sleep but she said something about LE stating they believe they will have MT back within 10 days (of the 16th) and that the person had been involved in the search and attended the vigil for MT. Is this just hype on Grace's part or LE's or is there anything concrete to it. I see her dad has left for home and the discussion here still centers around the same unknowns as before which leads me to think nothing has changed.

The podcast can be heard here for Aug 16th
Crime Stories with Nancy Grace
Nancy Grace? After cashing out her credibility years ago, I'm surprised she's not calling for the Duke Lacrosse team to be investigated in the MT case, or accusing dead ex-con Richard Ricci (whom she brazenly and incorrectly tarred and feathered in the E Smart case). I use Grace scenarios these days as negative leads: if she says x, then we can be pretty sure x is not the situation.

She's 20. No matter what happened, if she is alive people are resilient. She sounds extremely resilient. She has a psychology background. She has a huge family network. If anyone could recover from whatever, it would be someone with those traits/background as long as there is not some sort of major brain damage rendering a person incapable.moo

A couple undergrad psych classes (she’s probably still taking all gen ed credits) does not a background make.

It's easier to state what I think; I think she's been abducted by someone who is known to her; I don't think it's a unknown person who has carried out the abduction. I don't think it started out as an abduction.

I agree with you 100%.

I apologize that I couldn’t make the trip to Brooklyn today. My grandson went to er last nite. He has pneumonia. Planning on Tuesday if all goes well. I worry she won’t be found before winter hits. And l I’m going to do everything in my power to search until then, I promise. I’ll be Checking on 2 areas of interest. Electric Co cameras & distance between noted dots of interest. Anything else please let me know.
