Her body was found SE of Guernsey.

Her fitbit may have indicated that her heart stopped at 1900 385 Ave.

Wow.

I was wondering what role the fitbit could have played, since LE said it played a part in solving the crime.

This is sad if it turns out to be true. I didn't even think about stuff like that. :(

I don't necessarily think CR had a lot to gain by lying. He could have told LE he threw her in a river or something, and she's long gone, but he didn't. The body will hold a lot of evidence and he has to know that IMO. I think he's leaving parts out, obviously, but why make up a story and then give LE the body?

I think LE knew of information on his phone. And CR had to weave and dodge around it. I am wondering what else might be on his phone?

So based on where the actual assault/abduction happened which per LE was on the 1900 block of 385th Avenue, was that MT's route of finishing her jog at her mom's house and thus picking up the car?

If you look at the case map of locations, yes 385th takes you out past the denser neighborhoods where houses are more sparse. However had she been heading to LC's, she would have turned left on 185th ran up to Highway 6 and turned left again and made her way back to Brooklyn proper. It would've just been 1-2 miles back down Hwy 6 towards Bear Drive where her mom's home was. Then she'd eat dinner with them and take the car for the following morning.

I say this because if she wasn't on her way back to LC's via something close to that route, 385th doesn't have a turn that takes you back towards Brooklyn for a long while. I suppose she could have just stopped and done an about face but going on a continuous route makes more sense. Had she kept going, it would have had Mollie jogging after dark which is something friends/fam said she rarely, if ever did.

If that is the case, even more heartbreaking because her jog was like 80% finished and she was probably less than 20 minutes from LC's house.
200 goes from 385 back to 6 and that’s where one of the FBIs red dots were

What do you all suppose the people who were questioned who live with him, or around him, work with him, or saw him in the last month enough to be somewhat familiar with him will admit to police? Because he could have stated he was drunk, which caused the blackout. Did he not say he was drunk because he knew that 'alibi' wouldn't hold up with someone who knew him that day and night (who would have been in close proximity to him)? Someone who would have observed his behavior that night? Just wondering what anyone besides him knew or suspected. --Maybe this will all come out.

If you look at the map of the area where he was seen following her (Middle and Boundary Streets), 385 where her body was found is is just off to the right. When he left her, he may have headed back into the same direction and was seen on camera again after she was dead. What makes me think this is the time frame the arrest warrant shows 7:45 to 8:28. 8:28 is a precise number, so something gives them that time.
I imagine they also have his cellphone pings that put him in the area. They probably confronted him with so much digital evidence against him that he knew they had him.
Also, sadly shown on this map is her Mom’s street. It is very possible she took that route that night with the intention of ending her jog at Mom’s.

He’s being referred to as “migrant” and “seasonal” on the local radio stations. I don’t know how dairy farms work, not sure how milking cows could be seasonal work?
Cows only come "fresh" or have milk after they calve. I don't know that dairy farming is seasonal either. I just grew up with a father who had grown up on a farm.

IMO the big take away for women is this: Don't threaten to call the police.... Just call 911.... A threat only gives the other person warning that he or she can react to.

You are right. However, for MT calling 911 would have likely made no difference in the outcome for her. She was in a rural area with thin spread State and County LE. I have lived in "the country", and response times can be long. You have to be able to fend for yourself!

The take away for anyone is don't threaten, but warn (which CR claims she did - "leave me alone" or words to that effect) and be prepared to defend yourself. Have a defensive measure with you, if only pepper or bear spray (I like bear spray, as it paints them orange and sprays a good way). This might have given MT a fighting chance against a determined, physically fit assailant. Also, know how to use the quick 911 feature on your cellphone, and call 911 for help when you can. But first scream and resist, flee to safety if possible, and call for help.

Same here. All the while I was thinking they meant 385th Ave on the other side of town and she was heading back to boyfriend's house. Now I see the eastern side of 385th near Middle and Boundary. I do have questions (mostly rhetorical) as to why she ran that way if he was chasing her? Or why she ran that way at all instead of sticking to more populated areas. It seems pretty far out and would be a long loop back to her mom's. Perhaps it was just a regular route for her and she was comfortable, and she didn't notice him at first.
I believe LE gave us the Middle & Boundary Streets, and the perp provided/interjected 385th as his location. I too have difficulty seeing Mollie taking that eastern part of 385th as her route. MOO

Yes, but we don't know the quality, or the reason why it took so long to get hold of the CCTV footage; apparently it was acquired from a neighbour. Technology has improved so much, that I expect the quality to be good. No doubt we will find out in the future as to the quality of it.
Maybe it wasn't until LE put out that map with points of interest that the people realized they were in the general area and should check.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me whether CR could have known Mollie’s boyfriend would be out of town via any social media posts and that this in fact was premeditated days or weeks before she was abducted. It’s my understanding that first degree murder is premeditated. Thank you for any insight you guys can give.

I could be wrong but I believe it's first degree murder because if you believe the story he gave to LE, it sounds premeditated. CR admitted to watching her jog before. CR admitted to following her in his truck. CR admitted to chasing after Mollie when she said "I am going to call the police".

I have a question about 385th Avenue. Is that the opposite direction of the eerie drone footage we saw early on? is it near the dirt road past her house? I could find a view of it on google street view.

Re-posting for anyone who missed it this morning.
Mollie Tibbetts case mystified police until a security camera offered a key clue - CNN

They watched the footage for hours before they could spot Tibbetts, said Rick Rahn, a special agent in charge at the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.

The footage showed her running through an area east of Brooklyn and a car moving close to her. The black Chevy Malibu drove back and forth numerous times before it just started following her, according to an affidavit.

They linked the car to Rivera and "from that we were able to track his pattern in the routes in which he took," Rahn said.

A couple of sleuthers early on - don't recall their names - advocated she was possibly hit by a car while jogging and then abducted by the driver that hit her. Whoever that was, you were closer to being right than anyone else.
Did not closely follow this thread, but thinking this might be the poster who may that suggestion..

"Well, to me it's simply evidence that she didn't come back from her run. Whether that means she was abducted while running, hit by a car and killed and her body hauled off, went into a field to pee and fell over and broke her neck, developed amnesia and wandered away, or something else is anybody's guess.
