Yes. Around 6:35 he says a half of a mile.
Half mile from the presser location to the farmer's field - not XH's home.

The body was recovered about 4 miles from XH's trailer residence (Spruce Village).

My heart is hurting tonight. I do have a question I hope we get the answer to, a freshly combined field…. Was he not there during planting? please let justice be swift.
He went missing on May 27. Here’s a pic of what’s typical for the area at the end of May. Crops are planted but most have not grown much.

We have a farm in Kansas so it's about the same as Nebraska.

From the planting of field corn to harvest--depending if it's irrigated or not--it takes about 5-6 months to harvest. Of course also based on rainfall but that's the general span.

Planting is done in May.

Planting likely was done by then but it takes a bit for the crops to grow so I would think he would have been visible for a while. I suppose it depends where in the field he was and how close to the road etc.

He’s just been sitting out there all summer? Four miles isn’t very far to go on your own. Awaiting details. :(

Dang I just heard the news and ran here. Praying ME can determine cause of death if anything nefarious happened. Poor boy.

Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed Rest In Peace. Amen.

This boy didn’t take himself 4 miles outside town to die in a field. Hopefully LE have the other pieces of the jigsaw and can now bring this case together. Terrible news but at this point I’m just relieved they found him and can begin pursuit of justice. Rest easy now, Xavior.

So sad to hear the news we have all been dreading. Xavior seemed like such a great little kid who had experienced things in his short life that no child should ever have to experience; and yet according to those who knew him, he was always cheerful and joking and willing to give help to anyone who needed it. He deserved better.

The fields at the time of his disappearance would definitely not conceal a body. The fields are normally bordered with grassy area (that isn’t plowed or planted) wide enough to drive a truck, those areas would be pretty dense.

A heavy law enforcement presence has been confirmed at Ewart Road and 110 Street near Montezuma on Thursday.

KCCI's Kayla James reports multiple agencies including the Iowa State Patrol, Poweshiek County Emergency Management and State Medical Examiner were on the scene north of Montezuma.

This is near the area where 11-year-old Xavior Harrelson went missing on May 27.

You couldn't hide a human body in a cornfield at the end of May, but a hay field? It's possible.

I don't want to say any more until the body's identity is 100% confirmed.

We don't know for sure yet if this child is Xavior
but it's times like this when I choose to believe in angels.

Rest in Peace Xavior, or whoever this dear child may be

Whoever it is, a family has lost a teenager.
I fear it's Xavior.
My thoughts and sincere condolences.
Waiting on the inevitable law enforcement confirmation. :(
Rest in Peace.

One doesn’t combine hay fields. It’s surely either corn or soybeans.
