People shouldn't blow this out of proportion.

That is boilerplate language requesting pretty much every type of evidence the prosecution could have obtained. The defense has no idea what exists outside of the PC affidavit so they ask for everything. It absolutely does not mean a co-defendant is in play.

I'm sure this won't stop the internet train but it is the truth.

I think the big issue is that most people have not had much personal involvement in trials like this so when they read documents they don't know what is standard procedure and what isn't.

This is actually one of the reasons that I feel SG's lawyer will be a great asset for them through all of this. Rather than reading something they don't understand and believing LE is withholding information, every step can be explained by a qualified professional.

It's news to me too. What we've been told, AFAIK, is that he went (wearing gloves) to take trash to the neighbor's bin in PA, instead of using his parents' and he went at 4 am.

I think it's entirely speculation what was in those bags at the time.

So, I too would like a link if there's actually information about what was obtained from that trash bag or any other information about what was obtained from the parental home.

I think maybe people are conflating two things that were reported around the same time: 1) BK took garbage out to his neighbors bins in the middle of the night wearing surgical gloves and 2) BK cleaned his vehicle and did not "miss an inch."

I'm so sick of reading about poor bullied BK. There's millions of kids, adults, black, brown, white, male and female all over the world that have suffered at the hands of a bully, that in no way causes a person to go out and and murder four innocent victims.

I think he thinks of himself as special, entitled, the smartest guy in the room. Losing weight and getting into shape didn't seem to bring the desired effect he was seeking. He was still a guy that creeped women out IMO.

i mean, this is going out on a big limb- i dont actually believe this would even be the case, but just to put it out there with the bits we have seen today- could he be trying to implicate DM or the other roommate, or possibly someone else, like from the frat house?

also, a question. do we know those 12 car trips were driving by only or could those possibly by visits to something/one near the house.

A defense attorney said BK could have been visiting someone else near the house, that he could have been doing something else in the area.

In that case there would be witnesses who would say that BK visited them all those times or camera footage showing other places he hung out at with most likely other witnesses to confirm it.

Not hard to confirm where you are with so many video cameras in and around businesses, and door cameras, and traffic cameras, and witnesses etc...

Expect smoke and mirrors from defense attorneys, starting already.

Actually, works better if he grabs himself with his right hand (leaving a thumb print on his neck) to roughly position his face while shaving with the left. Who knows. I assume he was not happy at the time or with the results.

I’m gonna guess that jail razors aren’t exactly top of the line complete with 6 blades and moisturizing strips….plus I’m also guessing the time one would be given to perform grooming is not equal to the time one takes when at home.

Thanks for sharing your story of being a victim of stalking. I know it's not easy to share. I agree it is extremely deviant and dangerous behavior and I wish our society took it far more seriously than it does.
I'm sorry you experienced it. I hope they have stopped by now.
I do feel the girls knew or felt they may have been stalked or being watched.
SG Kaylee's father mentioned it.
I haven't met a woman that wasn't stalked at one time or another NOT on your level maybe but most women are stalked, but not all end up killed.
I experienced something almost as bad as your stalking. Prison slowed the stalker down only for 6 months then upon release started right back up again.

Whose last name, interestingly, is Rodger. Just like BK's Pappa Rodger persona on FB.

He reminds me some of the other Isla Vista mass killer wannabe, Attias. He reminds me of both of those.

Big difference is that they struck out in public, while he chose a private home. There are so few mass murders inside private homes that aren't family annihilations. I do wonder if he was trying to "compete" in a new category (in his own mind).

More and more, though, especially after reading the TAT messages, I think he simply snapped, but for what reason(s), we don't know. I'm liking the theory posted on the last thread about having multiple major life stressors, which he had not experienced before.

That's an interesting point you bring up that most mass murders aren't inside home when not a family annihilation. I hadn't thought about that.

I would agree with the "snapped" theory if it didn't appear that he was stalking at least one of the victims prior. Being in the immediate area of the house 12 times in the previous few months, to me, is escalating behavior rather than just a "snapped" scenario.

Is it possible BK mentioned his doctor's Appt to his Defense Team and said, "Call and verify I went to my appt. and there were no scratches or wounds" The Defense team then asked the receptionists if it was ok to leak it to the media? Can they do that legally? It creates DOUBT in the public eye. It gets their narrative out there in the media, to create discussion.

Maybe the judge will rule on that. It sounds like evidence covered by the gag order (IANAL). Not encouraging. It kind of looks like this defense attorney wants to try their case in the news media.
