I dunno why but that "running the garbage disposal" just strikes me as a useless fact. Why say that? Was he running it for insane periods of time? JMHO

Anyone who vacuums and runs a garbage disposal in the middle of the night in that style of housing is not being a good neighbor. And yes, I'd guess it must have been frequent and/or prolonged for anyone to mention it.

Didn't we learn at some point (IMO) that he was also taking lots of showers?

Right! Believe me, we don’t really want to hear his attorney spinning a dozen different versions of ‘completely innocent,’ in front of a crowd of reporters.

The perp spoke to LE for about 15 minutes before invoking his right to counsel.

LE will not be able to talk to him.

Imagine his defense counsel facing his unexplainable DNA, his prior cell phone stalking activity, the description of the witness, the identification of his vehicle and the tracking date on 11/13 and 11/14. Imagine knowing there is a bull ton more evidence implicating her client that she doesn't know about yet.

She will need tech experts, psychiatrists, CSI experts, forensics lab experts, depos of everyone who came to the house, and on and on and on even before she can begin to formulate a case of reasonable doubt. UGH.

<modsnip> I'm betting the floors and walls in that place are thin and their lifestyles simply didn't match up. Him being a murder suspect doesn't change anything about that.

Makes me wonder if the vacuum and garbage disposal were employed to drown out other noise. No idea what that noise could be... but I did just watch the first 15 minutes of the Jeffrey Dahmer series.

The only unexplainable DNA would be any we haven't heard about yet, IMO. One bit on a knife sheath doesn't add up to BARD, but under fingernails or in his blood there would for me.

The Tapatalk posts that I do believe belong to him state he has struggled with insomnia for years. His neighbors have also stated he was up all night, walking around vacuuming and running the garbage disposal at strange hours, it makes sense for him to be awake at that hour and his defense could easily say he just wanted to get out of the house.

I think students do have irregular sleep patterns due to exams studying, and some work part time too, mainly evening and weekends, but I don't think driving is the best remedy for insomnia

Been awhile since I checked on that Case, thanks. You are right, if that high profile trial was moved maybe BK's will be moved, I believe the judge in the Case decides.

The family of the victims has rights too. They should be able to attend that trial and moving it to a place difficult for the family et al to attend is cumbersome

So , it is possible the girls never saw any messages from him, I know that is how it is in facebook you actually have to look for message requests....

BK would have to get on the stand and testify to this, which is highly unlikely as his attorney is well-qualified and would not subject him to cross-examination in front of a jury. MOO Edit to add, Cross-examination referring to the driving around, especially/specifically to the locations in Moscow, "as he just wanted to get out of the house."

Well, we know that on some nights, he was scoping out the house on King Road, according to the PCA. Perhaps there were other homes that he was staking out on other nights.

You might be surprised. Consider a close relative of mine who’s fascinated by political news—watches CNN, Fox, MSNBC. If something of this type comes on, she switches channels as fast as she can—much to my annoyance.

Get a few of those on the jury, throw in ones who don’t watch ANY news, allow for memories to fade from the passage of time, and you have a jury!

With the passage of time, you also can find people who just recently moved to the area, and didn’t experience the original shock and horror.
