Seriously, that whole article reeks of misinformation to me. To say I'm dubious would be an understatement. That language too "he slid into..." is pretty off IMO.

IMO, all his lawyer can (technically) do is strongly advise him.I suspect if it makes it to trial he will absolutely take the stand. Also, his attorney doesn't need to "allow" him to take the stand. If he wants to, he can. It's his right.
You are making perfect sense IMOindicolite22 said:
I wouldn't consider friends or family investigative sources.
I'm sorry my formatting is wonky. I'm also sorry my answer to @indicolite22 was a bit snippy. The phrases People used are "investigative source on the case" and "investigator familiar with the case." Those are carefully worded phrases that avoid "working on the case" or "part of the investigation" or anything similar that would lead one to believe the source is a part of the official investigational team. This is treading very carefully in light of the gag order. So for this source to have access to someone's IG hidden DMs, they would either have the phone or laptop and access to social media accounts, but not be law enforcement or officially involved in investigating the case. Who would you think might have this access? A friend or family member? I believe from almost all of the early stories that there are people close enough to have access to a victim's socials who are investigating this case, because those people have said they are investigating this case.
Thank you.I wasn't trying to call you out, I feel bad if it felt that way. I was just trying to keep the record straight. While we have plenty of reporting from unnamed sources, none of that has ever been confirmed, and some of it has proved inaccurate. (FBI requesting the traffic stops in Indiana so they could view BK's hands, anyone?)
And in fact there was never any need to use genealogy databases. If you study the PCA you can see how he was identified without it.
Is it possible genealogy databases were used and they are hiding it at the request of the FBI? Sure, I guess.![]()
In the interests of clarity, the PCA does not state that the only DNA found on the sheath was that small amount on the snap of the Sheath. It states that a single source male DNA was found on the snap button of the sheath. The only DNA on the entire sheath was that small amount on the snap. Some, and I can see why, point to this as possible evidence that he intended to leave it, maybe set up the Frat boys or ROTC, and as suggested here as a calling card.
RBBM
What difference would it make if he took responsibility? Outcome is likely the same.
IMO, <modsnip> he is unable to feel anything a normal person feels. I don't think a man who acts out in this way because of perceived slights or wrongs by biology (VS ), inability to connect meaningfully with others/bullying & whatever other "reasons" is a man who is capable of seeing any real truth about himself.
I think there is serious mental illness at work in this man's life from an early age. That is tragic but doesn't reduce his culpability.
Any plea he make will only be strategic as to what he thinks serves him best. All those he has victimized (4 dead, their families & friends, the larger community) do not matter to him at all & never will.
JMO & harsh assessment
I used to trust the news networks to do accurate reporting. Those days, sadly, are as gone as Walter Cronkite. Like I said, it's possible, I just don't see it.I have to be honest…MOO… guess we will find out in 6 months at trial… but I’ve got a hunch… and I still think its true.. too many news networks reporting the same story about familial/genealogy DNA being used to assist in zeroing in on BK before trash match…
IF, in fact, they did use it and the FBI is strongly suggesting they keep it a secret, we may never even know.I guess we have to wait to find out. If I am wrong (which is highly likely… I am wrong a lot)…
Yeah, when I posted I was of the opinion that an LE source may have leaked. Since then I've speculated instead that if this article is correct then the souce is likely to be a private investigator hired by one of the victim's families. MOOI suppose you could think of "investigative source" as either someone directly involved in the investigation or a source the reporter developed while performing investigative journalism. At the moment, the only non-LE source I can think of for that particular information would be someone who works at Instagram.
IMO as far as neighbour interviews go I take what is said with a grain of salt, 15 minutes of fame and all that. It could have been once and then 'recalled' as 'multiple times'. It could be twice. Point is we don't know. As far as it being evidentiary it's not, just hearsay. All MOO. Grain of salt. MOOI dunno why but that "running the garbage disposal" just strikes me as a useless fact. Why say that? Was he running it for insane periods of time? JMHO
Thanks for bringing up that possibility. I've been thinking about BK's drive bys that early morning and it hadn't ocurred to me to consider the length of time of X's wait for the DD delivery as regards house lighting - perhaps in kitchen or living room.I think he was driving back and forth by the house from 3:30 - 4 am because Xana was up and lights were on as she waited for Door Dash. I order Door Dash A LOT and it takes on average 45 minutes from the time you order until you receive your food. So, she was waiting on her food between probably 3:15 and 4 am. Since she was up, she likely went from her room to the kitchen to the bathroom and back and he would have seen lights going on and off as she entered rooms. By 4 am, everything was quite and lights were off. MOO
It's not a fact that BK doesn't sleep much IMO. IMO that is an inference drawn from some interviews with neighbours post arrest and the TapaTalk account from 12 years ago that is believed by some/many to have been BK. MOO. IMO, it's hard to get a clear picture, based on neighbiur interviews reported in the press and what is available in the PCA (12 late night drives between June 2022 and 13 November) how much BK slept, when he slept and what if any regular sleeping patterns he had. MOOjust remember BK doesn't sleep much so he has more time even when he is driving 12 hrs/day IMO
Wow, that's some nitty gritty investigating! While driving?

You know if there’s anything of an evidentiary value in a social media account, I learned we cannot delete the accounts, or posts or ask anyone else to. It would be considered tampering with evidence!Of course. There's something called power of attorney. And if I am incapacitated and want posts deleted, I will give power of attorney to someone (probably not my attorney, probably a daughter or my husband but obviously it can be given to an actual attorney).
All the attorney needed was BK's user name and password, frankly. Both the attorney and BK surely knew that if in fact that was him, it would be traced back to him (and still can be, because nothing is ever truly deleted from Reddit - except by special software that can only be used by the user while they still have their account; even then, not sure it's 100%).
What we post online should be considered out in the world forever.
Why would it be unethical or illegal to ask some trusted person to delete a reddit account?
You're being polite...it sounds like a load of crap and they just want free publicity.Seriously, that whole article reeks of misinformation to me. To say I'm dubious would be an understatement.
I'm on the fence re the article. It could be that a private investigator is the source and gained access through surviving family members to the private direct messages received by one/some of the girls in October (ie Insta released that historical info on the say so of surviving family). That is simple speculation. One thing I feel moderately sure of is that LE is not the source in this instance because of that pretty off language (giving the benefit of the doubt that the source is correctly quoted ofcourse). MOO. Also I feel fairly confident in speculating that LE would have had a warrant or whatnot to get access to historical info on victims' insta accounts (direct messages etc) by now and already have any relvant info.Still, this is speculation.Seriously, that whole article reeks of misinformation to me. To say I'm dubious would be an understatement.
Did Xana see his car drive by on one of his three initial passbys thinking it was her DD delivery? IMOThanks for bringing up that possibility. I've been thinking about BK's drive bys that early morning and it hadn't ocurred to me to consider the length of time of X's wait for the DD delivery as regards house lighting - perhaps in kitchen or living room.
I guess you're speculating. We have no way to know IMO at this time at leastDid Xana see his car drive by on one of his three initial passbys thinking it was her DD delivery?
THANK YOU. I knew from the day I saw his account close AFTER BK was arrested and saw many incorrect posts. It's a non-issue and nothing IL said was anything different than LE. Trying to make up wild scenarios of posting while driving or timing posts or having lawyers delete his account etc. is beyond the scope of resonability/rationality IMO.IL got more wrong than he got right.
But in true cult like behavior when he gets something right it's held as evidence of him being BK, and when he gets something wrong....it's dismissed as "he's a GENIUS! he's trying to throw people off his tracks".
I mean....what else says cultish more than - even when he's wrong...he's right? And even when it's likely impossible for him to post...he inevitably finds a way.
