Charles Edward Dehner

Dehner was last seen in the Priest Lake area of northern Idaho on July 16, 1992. He and his wife were huckleberry picking in the woods north of Priest Lake, near Lionhead Campground in the Caribou Creek drainage area. The two became separated, and after Dehner's wife was unable to locate him, she went back to the truck to get help. However, Dehner had the keys to the vehicle so she slept overnight near the truck and the next morning walked the eight miles to the Lionhead Campground Office for help.
Dehner's brothers stated that their brother and sister-in-law had a cabin at Priest Lake and had hunted huckleberries in the vicinity for years.
A full-scale ground-and-air search, consisting up to 150 people and tracking dogs, was conducted but Dehner was never located. His whereabouts remain unknown.
