Is it possible that one of the 2 RSOs were the witness? If I'm not mistaken, one worked in Leadore and one was living or working in the ranger station although I'm not sure where that station was located.

The other one, the male, worked 26 miles away.

There is a comment by KIC on Facebook in reply to someone asking for clarification on IR's cooperation or lack thereof. Can I post the exchange here?

Eaton:
Lae wants to know, “What does it take to force someone to cooperate with an investigation once they’ve hired a lawyer? Can the court order them to answer questions or what about a grand jury indictment?”

Klein: I am not familiar with the Idaho statutes other than I do know that the state of Idaho can convene a grand jury to hear testimony where a witness would have to go in to the grand jury without an attorney. They would have two options available to them. Option one is to give their testimony and tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help them God. The second would be to invoke their fifth amendment rights.

The second part of that question would be federal side. Federal grand juries are a little different monkey. Lying in front of a federal grand jury or refusing to answer in front of a federal grand jury is a crime as it is a crime to lie to a federal agent. Those are issues that I think witnesses in this case should be concerned with as well as some of these folks on Facebook that could be considered trying to throw an investigation off. If you’re questioned about it and you lie and say that wasn’t me, that’s a federal crime if an FBI agent asks you. In a roundabout way, this is coming down to probably a grand jury I would think at some point. The next question obviously is what’s the timeline. That’s what we call the crystal ball concept. I’m not willing to look into a crystal ball and predict. We take every day as it comes and we’re moving the case along. Give law enforcement some room, give us some room and give the prosecutors some room and we’ll get there. Just give us some room.

Come, come, Sleuthers, photos or no photos, it does not matter unless there was a habit of taking non-stop photos and none were taken Friday morning because the child was already dead which can not be true because Klein has witnesses, plural and other than the 4 poi, that place the child on the mountain on Friday.

Let's get to the witnesses, with direct knowledge and information previously withheld - this is much more likely to produce an answer than the photo/no photo discussion. Right?

Who could these witnesses be? The older camping couple or the lady (and/or others) at the store or someone yet unknown to us at all?

Dear Witness, whoever you may be. Thank you for stepping up and telling what you know. Do not fear over your cooperation, you have done the right thing for the right reasons and I applaud you. Please continue your efforts to bring the baby's body home and to solve this case.
Or Maybe there was no real witness at all and that's what all Kleins talk about lying to an fbi agent was about.

So the gist of the KIC Facebook post referred to above is that IR hasn't talked/cooperated with KIC but has recently been cooperating with LE, they believe.

Eaton:
And our final question is from Brandee. She says, “What are the next steps for law enforcement and Klein going forward with this case?

Klein: Great question, Brandee. I believe that the next step, as I’ve said earlier, is that we are actually focusing on that timeline. We’re going forward through the timeline and through witness testimony and secondary witness testimony. We are either verifying or denying what has been given to us before. For example, and I’m just giving you an example, if I say I’m at the 7/11 at 7 o’clock in the morning and then I give that testimony to an FBI agent or a police officer, obviously the FBI or police officers or PSB agents like us are going to verify that. So we’ll go do that through witness testimony and video so you can well assume we’re verifying everything on that timeline. And that’s pretty much the painstaking part right now – going through and verifying every minute, every fifteen minutes, every second in some cases where we’re verifying the testimony of the people that were on the mountain that day as well as the axillary issues and some physical evidence that has been discovered.

Yep, just like I said up thread. Everyone needs to click on that link and read the entire thing. Just read the questions and then "listen" to Klein's answers and particularly his post-answers. There are a few other things that stood out (to me) that he said in previous interviews towards the beginning of January. Did you listen to his answer about the polygraphs and info sharing with LE and the FBI? (paraphrasing) he said he was "aware" of the polygraphs (and so is everyone) but he felt it was best that information not be released. He says no comment to the question about is it fact or rumor that IR was gone for an hour, and then goes on to add (I call these his post-answers) he would not consider it a rumor.

I'm telling ya, this guy is full of it and is despicable! MVOPO

Excellent news! So perhaps IR was the one LE interviewed last Sat. night? I was hoping this was so, I know some thought it was g'gf. Odd the term 'recently cooperating with LE' as though he hasn't been. Makes me go hmmmm.

Did I miss that? I didn't get that from what I read.

I must have missed it too!

But according to SB, IR was indeed cooperating months ago. My *opinion* is that Klein may be making progress, but he also seems to have some shady techniques.

Well, I'll be damned. The comment did say, "as of recently." I didn't catch that when I read it the first time. Good catch TheTruthWillOut!

Take this article for what it's worth, considering the source, but it is was posted recently.

http://www.examiner.com/article/pi-...eorr-kunz-jr-likely-dead-charges-will-be-made

I can't decide what to make of the wording in it, or its credibility of that wording for that matter.

I just read that and it's all from Klein. Nothing from LE. When he refers to "investigators" he's referring to his investigators. He clearly is pointing the finger at IR. He states LE "didn't" think he had done anything. I don't think LE is "working" with him at all. Oh, the number of pages he has poured over has jumped from 1000-1200. IMO

Please, cut and paste that for me. I swear . . . . I have read it three times and still cannot find it. I must be BLIND :(

But it is a FB comment. Am I allowed to post it?

IIRC on the last thread (somewhere a few days ago) Bessie stated you could quote post Klein Investigations from FB, but the firm's comments only. I believe this is correct.

Well, Mods, if not allowed, please delete!

Isn't that what we've just been reading? If the whole thing can be posted, a cut and paste of just that portion, the part you see and I don't, should be allowed.

Good point. I just posted a quick screen shot of the comment. It is from the We know the "how," but need to know the "why" article.
