What I'm getting from Part 2 of the IR interview is that Jessica was with IR and Vernal and DeOrr were behind. Next, IR notices Gramps pacing back and forth. This is when Gramps tells IR that DeOrr is missing.
So, according to this, Vernal was the last person seen with DeOrr.

I totally agree, ID Tater, the timeline is a mess.

When IR's recent (3 part) interview is dissected, there is a long period of time when IR doesn't see VDK or little Deorr. He doesn't specifically come out and say it (actually he avoids saying it), but between the trip to the store and VDK checking the cattle gate, IR does NOT have eyes on either VDK or little Deorr.

And, yes, did JA start fishing? In her interview (one-year video) she says she drops her fishing pole. How did they have time to fish/arrange fishing gear in this timeline?

And then there's this bold part:
IR: Me and Bob searched the immediate area up there for a little bit. His mom came from – I don’t know – she was out in the sage brush looking – and she came back to camp and I talked to her a little bit and I said, “What, what’s going on here?” Like “He’s missing.”
SR: Did she seem upset?
IR: Yes, she seemed pretty upset – I couldn’t really look at her in the face or anything – she hasn’t been able to do that for a wh - I don’t know for what reason.

It screams "shame" to me - she should be making eye contact and pleading with everyone to help find her son.

Wasn't the original version that they went and found minnows? Now they were fishing, yet Klein says there are no fish there?

Yes but did IR actually see DeOrr with Vernal or did he just assume that he was with him? That is the ambiguity of IR's answer to the question posed to him about where DeOrr was when IR and JM were heading to the river.

Very interesting, I've actually had no problem all along believing that GGP had something to do with it. Especially now that LE has come out and said they can't clear any of the four that were at the campground. Maybe they reached that conclusion after that incident was reported to them. JMO

I am looking for this and can't find it.

I found it and I take it with a grain of salt. But I also don't think GGP had anything to do with the baby going missing. Old men can say stupid stuff, even young men. My ex was the worlds worse for saying stuff that made him look bad, suspicious etc. I could tell you stories that would make you laugh and make you wonder wtf? God rest his soul, he could put his foot in his mouth everytime. I still say that the parentals if anyone are the ones who know what happened to their son, they were the ones who were supposed to be watching him and taking care of him etc. I find it suspicious about their gas usage but still am not 100 percent convinced that little boy isn't still out there in the woods somewhere, we've seen it happen where bodies have been walked past numerous times and later found by hikers and such.

If it's true that the four of them left together as a group, leaving Gramps at the campground, and IR and Jessica were together, it would have to leave Vernal with DeOrr.
Wasn't the first Vernal story was that it was about time for DeOrr's nap and that they'd left him heading toward Gramps?

IR cannot give a definitive answer about actually seeing little DeOrr when they were all heading to the creek after returning from their trip into town. His answers are ambiguous and confused. IMO IR was led to believe that DeOrr was alive and well at that stage but I'm leaning towards little DeOrr being already deceased and disposed of by then.

IMO whatever happened to little DeOrr happened during the course of the Thursday night or the early hours of Friday morning. Nothing has been mentioned as to whether any of them left the campground during the night but I think that is highly likely. If something happened to DeOrr in his parent's vehicle or close by, and one of them left the campground in the early hours, the other would know. How could they not know? By the same token IR and RW may not have heard a thing if they were sleeping 'heavily'. I'd personally like to know what VK. JM and RW were doing when IR went back to bed and slept till midday.

In a nutshell I don't think that IR has a clue as to what actually happened to little DeOrr and is only telling it like he remembers it. And there is no descriptive memory of him seeing little DeOrr heading to the creek with his parents.

PART 2: Isaac Reinwand describes what happened when DeOrr went missing.

Except that IR states he saw DeOrr throwing stuff in the fire, acting like a normal two year old Friday morning.

I guess I'm trying to sort it out going first by the premise that IR is telling the truth since he had no familial relationship to DeOrr.
That leaves the two closest to DeOrr and GGP.

Yep it was Deorrs nap time, so they left him with gramps, saying he'll be ok or some such thing? Why didn't they just put him down for a nap then before they left?

I wonder if they found Deorrs little vehicles in the campfire, the ones that were supposed to be in his pocket. I have always wondered if that wasn't some of the evidence they have alluded to. IDK just thinking.

Even though IR states that, IMO I think it was the Thursday night that he saw DeOrr thowing stuff into the fire and not the Friday morning. IR was unsure if they even had breakfast on the Friday morning.

Exactly!

agree with makara.

I'm wondering how much experience IR has had with toddlers. Numerous times throughout his interviews he's stated that little DeOrr was acting like a normal two year old. I'm not casting aspersions on IR, just wondering how experienced he is with two year old's or is he repeating what someone has told him or perhaps what someone has told him to say?

At 4:05 in the first video of Isaac's interview he states after Jessica, Vernal and baby Deorr left to get gas Bob took him around to show him a few fishing holes up and around the reservoir and that area.

and all he has to do is read People to remember what he had for breakfast. for all we know he was too hungover to leave the tent that morning and VDK/JM brought him a sausage and TOLD him that deorr was being a typical two year old and throwing stuff into the fire. he may have not actually SEEN him but that's all he remembers. IMO he never saw deorr that day. bob may have TOLD him when he woke up "oh you just missed them they drove into town for gas". isn't it ironic that the MOMENT he wakes up, less foggy than before, JM/VDK scurry off to town?

oh heck who packs eggs sausage and hash browns but has to drive into town two hours later for "snacks". c'mon.

If you could have a sit-down with these people what would you ask them to clarify, BESIDES the obvious "where is your son" and "did you do him harm", etc.
I mean, what details are just sticking in your craw that you'd really like cleared up, that are roadblocks to making any sense of the timeline, etc.?

RW's interview with KIC.

0:26 mark of the video.
RW: Sure it's bothering me but you can't go shooting somebody because it's bothering you.

Why does RW refer to shooting somebody because DeOrr's disappearance is bothering him? Or is that just a turn of phrase that people would use?

All of the details the parents have put forward to date stick in my craw!

I would start with...ok, let's take it from the top, one more time.
