Amnesia is a side effect don't ask me about those kitty cat tights I have no memory of buying them and I don't even wear tights.

In other words - wow, I agree. And didn't he say he took a nap?

LOL, that reminds me of a poster here that said she had taken Ambien. Then a few days later received the ugliest coat in the mail, she never remembered ordering it!

And, one of my own confessions. I wasn't familiar with Ambien, and took one one night. Didn't realize I was supposed to go straight to bed, so, ya know, I stayed up a while. My husband told me the next day I was standing by my bed that night saying, "Is this my bed, Is this my bed? " Ok, this is all confidential, right? Lesson learned, I don't take Ambien anymore. You know what it does right? It puts you in some sort of state of hypnoses. It doesn't actually make you go to sleep. I don't like it anymore, that's all I can say. Any questions? LOL
Not exactly off topic, as this is a potential theory of what possiblly could have happened that night to IR. JMO

No, I gathered that. As I asked before, is it disputed that the fuel was purchased in the manner it was for the reason JMA gave in the video?

She didn't give a reason that I heard, but she did say he "filled up his truck". Why did it need to be filled if they purchased diesel on Thursday?

I have an AMBIEN story--->>>here is why I have never ever tried Ambien....

One night about 3 am we heard a loud knocking on our front door. My husband looks out the window to our front porch down below, and says ' It's Laurie!' , [the next door neighbor]... we barely know her....

[She is a nice woman in her late 40's, very polite and quiet, we just basically wave hello, nothing more...]

She is pounding on our front door, wearing a bathrobe and a weird hat....We go downstairs and open the door and she calmly, slowly, asks if we have any parmesan cheese....SERIOUSLY...

My husband walked silently back upstairs, lol...and I asked ' WHAT? ---you came to borrow cheese?'

She very calmly and in a quiet voice said she was making LASAGNA but needed parmesan, and was getting in the car to go get some, but saw our porch light so.....

I actually gave her parmesan cheese and walked her part way to her door, watching her go inside because I thought she was drunk....

Next day I saw her outside, and walked over, she had NO IDEA, NO MEMORY at all of coming over---she was mortified. She never made the lasagna but said her kitchen was a mess the next morning and she had taken an Ambient and she was going to stop taking them...

It was reported that the engine in RW's truck overheated on the way to the campground & the trailer had to be hitched onto VDK's truck. The extra weight on the back would have resulted in considerably more diesel consumption than VDK had anticipated for the journey.

Another discrepany in their rendition of events since they also commented about sleeping in the back of GGP suburban and being woken up by the camper moving when GGP had to get up in the night. OH wait, they also said that the camper was set up for camping when they arrived and unhitched from the suburban. So take your pick, the camper was hooked to VKs truck, the camper was hooked to GGPs suburban and stayed hooked up even at the campground. Not even wasting my time finding links on this, its all smoke and mirrors in any event. JMO

Omg, bizarre. :scared:

Ok, I just googled it and there are some crazy stories to read, aka Ambien Zombies. At first I was thinking "I hope Deorr's parents don't end up claiming they were Ambien zombies and don't remember what happened". But from the cases I've read, as in murder cases, being under the influence of Ambien hasn't been a very good defense.

She talks about going up there when she was growing up, starting around 7:50 in the video. "I used to sleep underneath a pick-up, ya know, just out in a sleeping bag, with my dad."

Could she be referring to a pick up with a cap on its box? And sleeping under the cap? Because that's not odd. But if they actually slept on the ground UNDER the truck that does seem rather odd.... lol

Sleeping on the ground under a truck would be cold and very unsafe, never done that and never would.
I wonder if T means sleeping under the cap (added roof) of a pickup truck, on the truck bed, I done that many times.
(Just noticed you posted same KatieLiz).

Interesting do you remember source?

Having an Ambien moment and forgot they had already filled up?

Hahaha! It's interesting that she said "filled up" and in another interview the words "topped off" was used. I can't remember which interview or who said it. I think it was Vernal? But the topped off, at least to me, is more like when you don't know when you will see another gas station, so you "top off" when you can. But they had purchased fuel on Thursday night just outside of Idaho Falls, which is only 112 miles away from Leadore. No way he would be that concerned about fuel that he would resort to red dye fuel just to "top off" if he could make it back to IF. In my opinion this is another lie.

I was on Ambien for a short while. I would wake up with food all over my bed, the fridge door open and strange food missing. Like condiments and sticks of butter.

Pfft, you don't need to apologize to me, your one of the good ones, were on the same team! I just wanted to make my thoughts more clear as well.

I don't know how well planned this crime was but if they REALLY planned it they could've even slipped Issac a mickey. I am positive you could drop 3-4 ambien into a fifth of whiskey give it a little shake hand it to Issac (glug, glug) and bring him to a Metallica concert ( or Kenney Chesney in this case) and he wouldn't wake up for hours.

3-4 Ambien's into a fifth of whiskey.....he might NEVER wake up!

I'm sure they could've worked that into the script also, if nothing else they are good at hiding bodies. It might even be a better story if an adult disappeared along with Deorr.

I want to thank the rest of the board for scaring me away from ever trying Ambien. I've combined all these stories into a nightmare scenario where I show up at my neighbors naked, eating a stick of butter, at 3am, asking to borrow their credit card so I can place an Amazon order. I don't think our neighborly bond is strong enough to withstand something like that.

LOL. Sounds similar to my experiences. I no longer take it. IMO it's a dangerous drug and should be banned. Good luck with that though, what with the Big Pharma controlling everything, and the Big Government , all in each others pockets. JMO

Well, that might make sense, but sleeping under a truck, versus sleeping under a camper are two different things all together. Here's an image of a pickup with a camper top.

The camper top is a possibility too, but not what I was referring to.
I don't know how to share an image from my phone. Just a cap top. Some people have them on the back of pickups. It would basically give you a roof over the box. I know lots of people with those who throw air mattresses in the back or just sleeping bags and sleep in there instead of a tent while camping. Very very basic, not like a camper top.

ETA: figured out how to add a pic.

We call that a shell.^^^

This case I have a hard time handling mentally. It just pizzes me off more every day.

I don't think I would have a hard time dealing with a naked butter eating Ambien zombie Apparition at my door.
The blackmail photos alone would be worth it.

Mrs. Haley is that you?

Seriously agree, this case is hard to stomach. When you look at who is behind this and hear them talk, it's like come on they fooled everyone? Vernal can barely string together coherent sentences yet LE, FBI, and 2 PI's couldn't break him. Jessica always gives the air of a woman planning her next manicure when interviewed yet she too has skated. I can't touch GGP because I've barely seen him speak but I did like the fishing hat he wore to the Klein interview, it added a nice solemn touch. We can still hope LE hasn't cold cased this and that they are still working angles to solve this hillbilly filicide.
